it doesnt....but PC gamer is known for their extreamly tough reviews.....to get a 98 on there is pretty much unheard of...Im pretty sure if this is actually true...it would outscore Half Life 2, and every other game they have ever reviewed.

I dont think so either...but they talked very highly about it on their podcasts....the score itself certainly isnt out of the question.

I remember reading his previous "Crysis will flop" threadand from there all I did was look up his post history and found in total3 threads about Crysis which happened to be negative.

What made it distinct was because his original flop thread had over 19 pages.

Well, it's a long review and having given it a 98, you can imagine that they didn't say too many bad things about it. I will give you the opening paragraph, however:

"Cyrsis has ruined me. Let's call it the 'Cyrsis effect' - how am I supposed to go back to playing excruciatingly linear, stupid-AI-having, plastic looking, videogaming -y shooters, now that I've experienced the next evolution in PC gaming? In a perfect world, gamestores everywhere will open at midnight to host Halo-3 ****launch parties celebrating the release of Crysis on november 16th. PC Gamer is more harsh than most critics, including Gamespot at times, this isnt one of those biased magazines aimed for publicity, like PSU / OXM ect.

PC gamer is known far and wide for their extreamly strict reviews...they are generally very well done though.

Anything can happen, noone really knew that World of Warcraft would beat out Halo 2, Half Life2 andGTA San Andreas until people actually got addicted to it.
