I really like the fact that you can bypass entire areas of the game and get to objectives or go flat out and run and gun your way through. I started a new game on Sunday and decided to play Predator style, mostly cloaked, killing enemies when I felt like it. It's quite an amazing feeling, so much better than being funneled down a kill corridor with no chance but to fight or forced to do a crappy ass stealth level with broken mechanics.Crysis' gameplay is extremely underrated.

Alright, i got a 3.4 ghz quad core, 6 gig ram and an ATi 5770, can anyone tell me how to make crysis look this good?

Crysis is still the best lookign game (Metro on DX11 is next).

Console games like Uncharted2, GEOW3 and Gears2 look great though no doubt, just not close to Crysis.

there is no ai in that video or pics, its a mod that someone made just to show off the jungle in a small area.

its just someone pushing alot of textures in a meaningless map that someone designed, or in other words a tech demo.

that is a free roaming camera mode, and you canreally see AI in that video? lol they are just shooting without any cause and effect AI code, there is 0% ai in that video.

No. You do realize that graphics cards have ABILITIES AND FUNCTIONS? 1, They don't have enough VRAM to triple the image quality, and 2, Their graphic cards are SLOW, and lack instructions. That's like saying they could run Killzone 2 on the PS2 if they just removed the enemies and AI. :lol:

After discussing the legality of the project with Sony it turns out that the project has to be canceled.

So this is the end of this line, don't worry though there are bigger challenges ahead with more chunks of everything flying around,
fountains of hot lead, out-worldly surroundings, more and even faster action coupled with original and totally twisted stories.

Can't you see how they work in tandem? One ducks, while the other covers, ect. IT'S A JUNGLE. It's not littered with chest high walls like other games, where their AI simply scripts them to run behind them, then pop out occassionally taking shots.

How are Crysis's mechanics outdated? I found it to be one of the most progressive FPS's of this generation and still find it fun to replay today.
