[QUOTE="EntwineX"]6800GT and 9800Pro hardly seem comparable ..and usually if there is such a difference it favors Nvidia. gamer620

That isn't true. A game will perform better based on the hardware it is developed on, not because "nvidia is better than ATI" which in itself is subjective. UT2k4 may perform better on an NVidia chipset than an ATI, but HL2 will perform better on an ATI chipset simply because the games are optimized around those chipsets. It has nothign to do with brand quality.

I wasn't referring to real-world performance, but only the strange system requirements, and for some reason I got even that backwards(I was wasted yesterday). What I was trying to get at was that there have been requirements such as DiRT's x1300/6800 which are equally weird and seem unbalanced(and untrue), and they seem to favor Ati.

But also, lets take DiRT for e.g. It states min reqs as 6800/x1300 ..but it also supports 7100/7300 which are weaker than 6800 ..but for some reason the 6800 is mentioned as the min requirement(btw I played it on 6600GT).

And remember people Stranglehold's speculated system requirements(7800/x1300) ..which "surprisingly" proved out to be wrong in the end ..at least I pressume they did...

Haha, hermits have to give up 16gigs of space. Halo 3 is less than 6. Wow.

Halo 3 also looks like a last-gen game.

No it doesn't, and you really shouldn't answer trolls with an equally fanboyish comment.

it looks just like the pc version halo 2

errr no, Halo 2 PC has upgraded textures and slightly better shaders yes..but thats it. Halo 3 on virtually every scale is better then Halo 2 period. Draw distance, geometry, textures, AI, physics (the water!?),Lighting (HDR, Self Shadowing, Global Illumation), etc

But enough, Crysis is a technical achievemant for gaming period...

And once a freaking again, the consoles have the power to run Crysis (and this was stated by crytek so many times), but they lack the ram for the incredible large worlds at that detail.

Compared to Crysis, it looks last-gen.

Then wii is a NES era console.
