If Crytek have got their heads round the Cell and are pushing it for physics and to take the load off the PS3's inferior GPU then great.

As a PC gamer I just hope that they will use all four of my cores rather than being limited to two.

You know.... it doesn't really have a big impact on me because I bet the PC version will look noticeably better than both of them, and in this "game" first place is all that matters.

It won't be any different with the CryEngine 3 compared to other multiplatform engines. The X360 will probably be the best version. But by the time a game releases on the X360 with the CryEngine 3, a PS3 exclusive will allready look better:). I doubt Crytech is better than Naughty Dog with the PS3 hardware.

Crysis is a good game beyond graphics. Go read some reviews on it.

i watched the video demonistration it performs on pc king and its well on ps3 but its beatiful look at the 360 and looks amazing on pc so dont look at the performance look at the eye effects for now till we see areally game play we will be able to say witch is better .

btw, to be fair, you were misleading in ur title.. the guy said the ps3 is the lowest common denominator for a lot of developers.. and they struggled hard not have their engine inferior on the ps3 (i.e. they managed to achieve parity with the superior x360)

The console versions look good, but whoever wins this small battle will only end up being 2nd place, with the PC continuously over-lapping.

They said no one is running anything like this on the PS3; saying their engine is better than anything done on the PS3 so far. He also said the PS3 has always been the lowest common denominator to other devs, but they have been able to get more out of it than any other dev. great work yerli it looks fantastic, the only problem are simply the frame rates. You can obviously see the limit with just 3 persons in the screen. My SLI system already now owns what i see with Cryengine 2. However its anyways going to be enough for console gamer. They are used to 30 Frames and play the game on the couch far away.

But srly if you want really enjoy this game get an SLI system

this is one game where it must be played to see the difference, sure the 360 version will look similar to pc and ps3 version in the screen comparisons but the 360 engine will be missing alot of post processing, physics, etc.
