k i have seen alot of people defending crysis because....

1. alot of xbox360 fans cant stand the fact that haze looks comparable with crysis....

2. xbox360 is in its 3rd run and cant beats its own good looking game gears....

3. ps3 is surpassing their precious xbox360 graphical wise when 2nd gen ps3 games are shown off....

600 + my current pc = Crysis Max stats.

Besides 600 for a system which plays games and may well be supporting a dead format is nowhere in the same league as a $2000 pc. Hell a $600 pc is worth a lot more than a ps3 would ever be!

you could buy a complete pc (including monitor) that will run crysis like that for less than 1500, also, it's more than 600 for the ps3 if you include the hdtv.

Haze just looks blurry as hell from that video.

IF these are haze's graphics then they blow!! and compete with Crysis but if Haze's gameplay > crysis then i guess hermits will be crying day and night and haze will be bigger than crysis!

The scale and destructibility in Crysis alone trumps anything Haze will bring to the table. Haze might be fun but on a technical level there is no competition for Crysis and will not be for a good while yet.foxhound_fox

Agreed. Also, the fact that the PS3 has yet to feature a game with decent environmental textures means that Crysis is the De Facto winner.

i can gurantee you that the xbox360 version will be downgraded haze is made with the cell in mind not the graphics chip like pc  and xbox360 games are built

I like how you make the price for the PC as high as it can go, adding on all the extras just to make it look bad, and then you strip down the console prices to the bare minimum to make them look better.

The fact is, for Haze to look like that, you need your 400$, or 600$ console (360 or Ps3), and an HDTV, which will easily set you back at least 1700$. A top of the line PC would only cost around 1300 or less.

If you want to use the argument that you don't need an HDTV to play, then I'll use the argument that I don't need a top of the line PC to play Crysis either, even though you try to make it look that way.

idk why everyone is so excited about the game, mabye Im missing something that everyone else has seen. Ever since it was first announced its seemed like a pretty bland game, this is like the only game at the Ubiday I wasnt excited about, and that surfing pengiun game.

Oh come on, man, lol. The 360 is the only logical comparison for the PS3, and yes I completely agree that some games that are getting ready to be released are going to be easily graphically superior to what the 360 has had so far. But to go after a game that looks like Crysis....just no.

While I certainly think that games like Haze, Uncharted, and Heavenly Sword can hold their own in that they will still look great next to Crysis.....it will still be evidently clear that Crysis is still on another level. Because it just is....end of story, man. I am a huge supporter of the PS3, and the 360 as well for that matter....but I am also a realist, lol. Crysis is the graphics God right now.
