Dark Souls 2 next gen version listed by Tesco (DARN)

amnesia is pretty scary. i haven't finished it yet.

you know mate, if you're after a scary game ... a game which doesn't get mentioned a lot is doom 3, but it's pretty frightening. i just did another playthrough of it because i got a 144 Hz monitor - really slippery smooth. at first i found the gameplay quite 'gluggy' due to the character's slowish movement speed, but i really got into the game and had a great experience. went straight from doom 3 to even more doom 3 with the expansion pack resurrection of evil.

I actually played Doom 3, it took me a month to get half way through it and it wasn't because of difficulty.

Lol. last night, We we're playing the second Amnesia, A Machine For Pigs. Right in the begining and looking for the kids in the attic. I was paranoid as hell, jumping at shadows and always wondering where that sound came from, but the last straw was when a Door Slammed Shut behind me. My heart jumped out of my chest and I just couldn't take anymore, Amnesia broke me...

ah that new amnesia. i need to pick that up, you're making it sound nice and scary.

yeah i noticed that playing doom 3, these games with a very tense atmosphere ... as much as i enjoy it, i also struggle to tolerate the pressure for more than about 60 mins.

I loved Doom 3,

I think the thing that was really creepy was that scene where some invisible ghost makes bloody foot prints on the floor. And you were free to follow them if you were curious enough.

I bought it on PS3, then I bought the real version on PC. I beat it, it was a fun ride, but I can't get myself to play it again. I already tried a couple different builds using the soul vessels, and multiplayer is broken with soul memory screwing things up in ng+. There really isn't much more fun pie to get out of it.

if true, it's good news as far as i'm concerned.. I purposely waited on buying GTA5 and DS2 with the assumption that superior versions would be eventually released on the new consoles.. but after these games, lets stop with the updated cross-gen titles please..

Eh, I'll just stick with my 360 copy. No sense in having 2 copies of the same title.

I have 2 retail Copies of DiRT 3 on the same platform, and I have the Retail and Digital version of Portal 2... Again, on the same platform. I'm so ashamed :(
