Dark Souls 2 vs The Witcher 3, which do you anticipate more?

Never played the Witcher series, so I'm going with Dark Souls 2.

Haven't played either series, but I think I'll go with Dark Souls 2. I think I would love Dark Souls.

Witcher 3. I liked Witcher 2 far more than Dark Souls. And I expect it will be even bigger with sequels, as W3 looks incredibly ambitious, while Dark Souls 2 seems a lot less so.

Such a hard decision for me. Bothof their predecessors are in my top 5 of this gen. But Dark Souls 1 IS like tied first as my GOAT so I'mma go with DSII.

I am really hyped for TW3 though. Both games are in my top 5 most anticipated list

Witcher3 because I LOVE the books and tv show for The Witcher.

Dark Souls is great fun but I prefer the story and awesome characters of Witcher series.

The Witcher 3 for me. Doesn't matter how DS2 turns out, for my tastes Witcher 3 can't really lose from where they are right now.

Weird... I didn't know From Software was forcing people to sell their systems. Guess I'll be locking my doors from now on.

The Witcher series is very overrated with linear gameplay. Elder Scrolls series has superior and deeper gameplay. But The Witcher 3 looks like it will be the first actual good game in the series, finally going open world and hopefully add more depth to the gameplay.

TW3 hands down. Dark Souls wasnt even a good game IMO.

I can't play super difficult games -- Witcher on the other hands is one of my favorite RPGs.

you can't be talking about skyrim..there's no way you're talking about skyrim.

Both will be amazing, if you like RPG's at all you'll end up getting both.

Witcher 3 is my most anticipated game of next year, so definitely WItcher 3. I have played Dark Souls occasionally and enjoyed it but not near as much as The Witcher 2. Also IMO the sequel for Dark Souls is not a huge upgrade from what I have seen, and eventhough I have yet to see gameplay of Witcher 3 I expect it to be mindblowing.

Yes. It actually has a pretty good story. Not as good as Demon's Souls though. You don't need to follow the stories to enjoy the games though.

Dark Souls was far more straightforward than Demon's Souls. It didn't have the confusing white/dark world/character tendency, and its icons for stats actually made sense.

Witcher 3, though I can't wait for Dark Souls 2 as well!

Also, haven't even played the first DS, it's just sitting on my Steam for now, but think I'll play it next month, too busy right now for a lengthy and challenging RPG.
