Gonna want to have 40 endurance for max stamina, general rule I think. I'd put the rest into dex or faith since its B scaling with both. Or at least get Vitality up, 30 is pretty low for any build IMO. HoolaHoopManI wanted it to utilize Ornstein's stuff rather than be optimal in terms of DPS. It's more of a role-playing build than anything. It should be decent for co-op. 30 VIT is the most efficient use of points unless you are going 150+. The HP gains for every level after 30 are a joke (30 is 1325 HP, 99 is 1900 HP). The Grass Crest Shield (one of the multiple 3-weights I always use) should make up for the lowered Stamina. 30 END is exactly what I need with Havel's Ring for Equip Burden under 50% with the equipment I've chosen. Chances are, if I like the build, I'll take it up to 120+. Which is when I'll put END to 40, FAI to 50 (Sunlight Spear :3) and DEX to 40. 148 is a pretty solid finishing number, though PvP I've heard gets more sparse past 120. -- Either way, as with most RPG's I've played in the past (Elder Scrolls being bad for this), I tend to make more characters than I have the time to play all the way through. But I'm fine with that. It's how I have fun. And the fact I've put in over 100 hours and haven't killed a single Lord yet, is impressive (and quite sad). I can't think of any other game this gen, other than Oblivion, that I've played that much of.
And using the dragon slayer is near impossible, finding an arrow for it is about as rare as a pure bladestone lolparkurtommoWith the Covetous Gold Serpent ring equipped, the Silver Knight archers in Anor Londo drop 1-3 of them almost every time. And the Giant Blacksmith sells them for 500 souls each. It's not a cheap weapon, but it's intimidating, and the knockback is massive (especially for a bow). A couple well-placed arrows and you could knock people right off the area (especially in Sen's).

Here's a good place to start. #18 for the Dragon Slayer Spear if you're interested.

Definitely disagree on both endurance and vitality. You get diminishing returns for vitality, but 30 is still pretty low.
right now i'm in the process of raising faith an int to 18 so i can at least use the greatsword of artorias.BrunoBRSWhat soul level are you? Because I made the mistake of trying to use that sword at SL 80 and paid dearly (it ruined my first character... not that having most stats at 25 helped in the first place). You have to be 147+ for it to be useful: Link
Okay so your just going to make a thread just to **** about DS whopping your ass guess you don't like a real challenge.

But then again, I have never PvP'd at level 120, so I wouldn't know the difference that 400 extra HP would make. Maybe I don't notice because I'm usually using the ROFAP and get the equivalent of 40 VIT in HP (it's like 1321, 4 off). Remember I am talking mostly PvE and sub-80 PvP. I tend to use heavier armor (which is why I often use DWG when below 50% EB) to make up for the lower HP. But whatever, I feel like I'm getting way too nerdy about this. Lol.

Well personally I think it does makes a difference especially when used with the ring of favor and protection. If you're going PVE though just make a fun build. I like to use full armor sets instead of mixing and matching like everyone else does for PvP, aesthetics people! Gets pretty boring seeing everyone wear the same boring stuff like the Mask of the Mother, havels leggings, or the Giants armor. Favorite build I made is full black iron set, ring of favor/protection and havels ring, claymore, and great shield of artorios. Its just lols at PVE and is still under 50% burden.
