Darksidersis out in North America and is due on the 8th in Europe. The critics have (mostly) spoken, and they've had great things to say:

• Metacritic average: 85 for 360 and 86 for PS3, based on 32 reviews for 360 and 28 for PS3

I'm not seeing very much into this game. Really, what so Zelda about it. I even read info on it, and all those don't make it a Zelda game.nintendoboy16

I chose AAA.... *fingers crossed*.... regardless though, I've already bought it in my mind. So I could care less what the reviewer here or there think... I've been excited about this game for well over a year, from the time when I saw the 1st screens.

Jan. day 1 buys for me....

AAA. This game looks absolutely awesome.

It'll most likely be my first purchase of 2010.

I'm not too interested in the combat, so I'm looking forward to seeing how the puzzle/exploration components hold up.

I'm really hyped for this game and can't wait but I don't think it'll get any higher than AA but hopefully I'll be proven wrong

I think the lack of populated towns to visit and basic NPC interaction hurts the whole Mature/Dark Zelda vibe their going after.Thunderdrone

It's been getting alot of good reviews from many big sites and magz like game informer, IGN and eurogamer. My guess it will get a solid 8.5, but a 9 wouldn't be so surprising either. Either way, my game arrives on Friday so I have a busy weekend :P

Looks very good, but im going with Bayonetta this month. It will score 8.5 but i want it to pull a 9. I hope this year, more single player games start scoring AAA (this, bayonetta, NMH2 etc). Seems like theres a notion going around reviewers that SP only = half a game. I think Batman should have changed minds.

Tomorrow is "D" day baby and this I'm hoping feels, plays & satisfies like a 9.5 game but what GS scores it hmm, 8.5 or 9.0 sounds right - I'll go with the 9.0 :P

Already Purchased my copy off Ebay, waiting for to to be delivered to me now :) I think it has the potential to be AAA but i dont mind if it gets AA. Only cost me $65 AU... which is cheap for a new game here.

Yeah, it's amazing how this game just came out of nowhere, from an unknown developer, and yet looks so slick and polished and gorgeous.

It still doesn't seem to be getting much attention though, which is awful. This game could sell great if people just knew it existed, and what it was like.

More reviews are in! PS3 version is back up to 88 on MC, with 17 reviews.

It makes them similar to Zelda.

I don't think anyone says it's exactly a Zelda clone, just that it borrows from Zelda.

AA @ 8.5. This game is going to be solid as a rock and I will have my copy tomorrow.

I'll be getting it tomorrow alongside Bayonetta. Should be a nice combo of gaming. I'm looking forward to Darksiders now.

BTW, something that is oddly absent from this thread (being system war and all) is that the game supposedly runs alot better on the PS3. From what a few of the reviews and alot of posters that obtained an early copy said the 360 version is riddled with screen tearing and some framerate issues where the PS3 version runs alot smoother. Typically I always buy the 360 version of multiplats but this time I am going with the PS3 version because I hate graphically hiccups esspecially screen tearing.FerdMertz
