Yeah,the last few ones that I can remember were Just cause 2 and Saints Row 2.

And it´s not really just codes,it´s the actual retail boxed copy but with the cd key that you can activate on steam,though they also have beedn giving and extra download only code for some games,like HAWX a few months ago.

Damn! I must pay more attention to magazine stores from now on... I already beat STALKER SOC but never got to try CS. I hope I can still find it (well, we're still in the middle of the month so I'll probably find it :))

Don´t get the impression that it´s the norm though,most games they put with the mag can´t be redeemed on steam,mostly because they prefer to keep it drm free(at least that´s what bruno mendonça said in the forums),but aside from JC2 and SR2 there have been others before and apparently it will increase a lot in the future,considering how many steamworks games are these days.

Eyeing Crusader Kings 2 because i heard about the Game of Thrones mod, but never played any games in the series before. What are people's impressions of the game?ferret-gamer

It's my favorite game so far this year. I haven't tried that mod, but it's a great fit for the game mechanics. As mentioned earlier in the thread, the learning curve is very steep, especially if you're unfamiliar with other recent games in the genre, but it is worth it.

Just got "The Walking Dead", was on the fence about it.... almost bought it yesterday...... glad I waited.

Oh... and I voted for The Witcher 2

Missed out on Deus Ex HR yesterday because i was broke, ofcourse now that its payday there's nothing i want :(. Altough the Star Wars pack is looking mighty appealing.

Still no decent games on sale, steam sales are just making me realize that games im waiting to get cheaper are all console exclusive

Both Borderlands and Just Cause 2 are my main priority and it's really hard to resist getting them :( I'll have to wait and see if they get a daily deal.

That Portal pack is amazing. Tempted to pick up L4D 1 and 2 for $15. Those bundle Packs are extremely amazing, that sega one has over 70 games for just $50

So far I am depressed. Not a single game so far that I want other than Skyrim and I am not paying $40 for that game. That game is a $20 purchase at best. So far today looks the same as yesterday. thats a bit strong dont you think? steam is amazing the first time you experience the sales, after that only 3 or 4 games jump out. dont worry got alot of days left yet valve will make sure your wallet is empty

You all need to learn to pace yourselves. Many on here act like it is a one day sale and buy anything that is cheap. There is still many days of this left.
