Didn't see a thread about it so here it is:

It's possible that nothing in the teaser translates into the game. If anything it seemed like a "I'm free" message and "I can work on whatever I want now". Here's some digital Norman Reedus ass to enjoy! I also can't help but feel the handcuff and baby represented freedom and a new start(life).
I'll reserve my judgment until more is shown, but I like the vibe. I like games that go against the grain in some respects instead of just following the cookie cutter formula. There's plenty of other titles out there if this doesn't end up being your cup of tea.
Yeah, it's a Kojima trailer. I'm sure whatever he has in store for us will be weird as ****.
Hope we're able to see some gameplay by this time next year.
That trailer just freaks me out. I bet Konami saw this and chuckled. "Glad he's not our problem anymore." There's abstract and then there's this. I don't know...

Nothing about this strikes me as that abstract.
I wish more games would get a little weird. Most of the AAA industry play it extremely safe to a boring degree.
@JangoWuzHere: The Walking Dead guy is holding a dead baby and crying! Then it disappears and there are a bunch of dead fish and whales. Then there are people floating in the distance. That's not abstract? What is the literal meaning then? What do I need to smoke/drink/snort or shoot to get what's going on here?
I'd of rather he collaborated with Guillermo del Toro to make a horror title, rather than working with Norman Reedus to make something overwhelmingly avante garde.
I don't see a game yet
They don't even have a game engine yet lol.
Yeah it's going to be a while.

I've seen music videos weirder then this.
It's just a trailer, you're not supposed to understand what's going on. It's supposed to built excitement and create curiosity. I doubt the final game will be on this level of crazy all the time.

Yeah, just look back at the very first "Moby Dick Studios" trailer for MGSV, then look at MGSV.

Yeah, when I saw the trailer which clearly has an good/bad vibe on people/promotes discussion (thank the gods), I said aloud to my friends as we all watched it in wonder, "Konami knows now they should never have let this guy go" and I bet they think that now and even more-so when this game is completely revealed.
There is way too many cookie cutter, paint-by-number games these days.
We need guys like Kojima to shake it up, and he's done a lot of strange/bizarre trailers...but that's okay because things fall into place once the game is completed.

Yep. It's like people never saw a strange Kojima sneak trailer before and then proceeded to complete his game.
Even with MGS there was odd things happened but he was shackled to the franchise. Now, he can do whatever his mind can come up with without having to limit himself to the MGS universe.
He does like to get freaky with it...but the gameplay is always worth it.
Interested, love the 'wtf' component but knowing Kojima, this will be released in 2020-2021 so hyping this game is kinda pointless.
I need to see more to have a say on this. they didn't even choose an engine yet to work on and the game is still far from release.
@mems_1224: not surprising coming from you. That trailer has a bigger meaning that your favorite game. Name it so i can compare
It looks odd, but fascinating all the same, and more importantly different. Way too many games offer familiar experiences, so I'm glad that least one designer is looking to try his hand at something which may actually be original.
Let's just wait to see gameplay before making haphazard judgements.
Apparently this might just be a concept.
But I'm hoping the 5 flying things are a sign of that it has some Zone of The Enders gameplay influence.
This did nothing for me. Maybe if I was attracted to him, because all I saw was cryptic, melodrama, naked guy. Spare me the abstract BS Kojima.
It's an odd trailer too be sure, but it's Kojima so I'm in it to win it upon release.
Dude can craft excellent gameplay and his track record speaks for himself.
Kojima is known to troll his fans when it comes to this kind of trailer, so I'm surprise when I saw this at E3 for the first time. Oh well, cannot give out my opinion on this yet until we see more to come.
Looks like more typical Kojima nonsense. Appearing children's hands, a scar on the stomach, glowing handcuffs, black goo on his hands, a synthetic umbilical cord. Let me take a wild guess here:
Guy woke up not knowing where is is, birthed the cyborg baby boy through a self-operated c-section (which nano-machines quickly fixed after wiping his memory) after he was modified to allow pregnancy as a young boy by the Lo Le Var Du Duds (the five objects in the sky), a clandestine alien race whose ultimate goal is to repopulate their planet by fishing the ocean dry, mulching everything up into black goo, and telepathically leaving gooey fish hand prints everywhere as a sign to our government that the impending alien-war-imperial-fishing-industrial-complex (or AWIFIC for short) is on the move. But this is not what's actually happening, for two hundred years ago.....
Did that make any sense? No? Then Kojima can hire me and thank me later. I can't wait to get my fill of laughs from his "writing". He designs incredibly well made games technically and mechanically, but the guy can't write for shit, and unfortunately thinks he can. All the worse, then we have to suffer his fans claiming him the next Shakespeare.
Nothing about this strikes me as that abstract.

Yeah I think they saw the trailer and had the opposite reaction. WTF...glad we're not pouring money into that. The trailer was trying too hard to be edgy and I doubt the game will be anything like that.
Glad I have a PS4.
Wouldn't want to miss the next project from the guy who created the 2015 GotY.
The Witcher 3? I didn't know CD Projekt Red were working on a PS4 exclusive project.
Called it...i said the exact same thing about this...this...whatever the hell that thing is. The worst part of all, is that we are going to have this game, at the earliest, by 2018...but hey, is Kojima, let's all cheer him.
@MirkoS77: "but the guy can't write for shit, and unfortunately thinks he can. "
MGS1 was well written. And that's it.
It was ok...a little bit melodramatic, but still ok, IMO his best writting was with MGS3, however like all his games, it doesn't go without his silly stuff which i hate btw, i'm just not into poo jokes, i mean i'm not in elementary school anymore.
