Despite MS's awful E3, it doesn't matter. Realistically, they have 2010 in a bag

It just hit me after the new sales data.

August is likely to see a large sales. September with Reach will obviously claim victory. Call of Duty Black Ops, as tradition, will bring more attention to xbox live since it's such a heavy fps system. And of course Kinect and Christ mas will seal the deal.

World wide, it's gonna be a close call. But despite MS's terrible E3, I guess it didn't matter

I would rather play the games and not the sales, but in terms of sales there is GT5KevinButlerVP

True, I can't wait for GT5. As of know Reach followed by GT5 are my hyped games.

I love the ps3 too, it's just with Socom 4 delayed, I really think their Fall is a little lackluster. Gt5 and LBP2 are the only two pre orders atm

Exclusive wise, 360 is in the same boat this fall.

All it really has is Reach and Fable 3.

People are ACTUALLY going to buy Kinect....? I can understand MOVE, but Kinect...?

It doesn't even look that great, imo. I don't see how motion alone can be a good factor into playing games. Playing normal games with Kinect will be like playing an RTS on console: there's only so many motions you can do before you become limited.

I'm guessing you're excluding the Wii. Between the 360 & PS3, America is 360 and Japan is PS3. Europe IMO is also going to PS3 because Europe goes crazy over GT and you know Sony is bundling that game in Europe & Japan. I expect GT to move way more consoles then Halo Reach in Europe. As for the Kinect vs. Move, yes, Kinect will outsell Move but how much is the question and I am not making predictions. I expect the PS3 to outsell the 360 worldwide like it has done the previous 2 years.FlamesOfGrey

i just say we wait till the final figures for this year comes out, halo reach is going to sell lots but who doesn't already have a 360 at this point who are interested in this game, unless they gotta have the bundle. But gt5 is a console seller and people act like 360 rules the world, its mostly only here in North America but in japan and europe "apart from UK" the ps3 reins supreme. so who knows, both consoles are doing pretty good at this point but at the end of the day its all about the games

E3 matters about as much as sales do, here they matter a lot but every where else nobody cares except those in the business.

If they play their cards right with Halo: Reach, Call of Duty Black Ops and market the hell out of Kinect, I believe the 360 could come out with some very impressive sales figures when all is said and done at the end of the holiday season.

I think your expecting way to much from Kinect sales. I think that things gonna bomb. maybe not first month, because thats when the hardcore are gonna buy it, but I cant see it doing what MS wants it to do. To be fair, I dont think Mvoe is going to do great either. Also, keep in mind that GT 5 is coming out in fall and thats going to be HUGE. Maybe even bigger then Halo Reachdepending on where you live, I do think Black ops will sell more on 360, but I still think itll do great on PS3, Also, christmas is up in the air on whos going to come otu on top there. Probaly nintendo.

M$ does NOT has 2010 in the bag. Nintendo hasnt really done anything, SMG2 and a good E3, but thats it. SONY started of great with, MAG, HR, GOW3, 3D Game Hero, and Mod Nation Racers. They had a good E3, but the slowed down a bit. I dont think any company has 2010 i the bag.J-WOW

Nintendo has been doing good, as good as Sony, and better than MS as far as exclusives go.

GT5 will be the equalizer for the sales. My most anticipated title is LBP2, but I don't think it's a heavy system seller. Who knows though, maybe.
