Halo reach is the only seller MS has, a huge one but imo it won't sell systems, the slim effect is regressing. Overall MS did good despite their aweful E3, but TC sounds over optimistic.

I always feel so bad for fanboys that try to act like Nintendo will not outsell the Ps3 or 360 in games and Consoles. Anyone forget that NSMB wii is at 15 million plus in less than a year? Donkey Kong Country will sell millions instantly as well it will not even be funny. I love the 360 but the tc is best off ignoring the wii becuase the 360 does not stand a chance of outselling it year on year.

Do people on this site relly think that the 360 has outsold the wii worldwide this year? thats funny it really is not even that close. The Wii is far far ahead sorry to burst bubbles. (i think people tend to forget that in the first half of this year the Wii got a very large lead something that the 360 will not be able to catch up on. And parents like to buy thier kids systems and we all know how hollidays go for Nintendo with sales.

GT5 Prologue is over 5 Million so, I personally disagree. It won't be a quick 10 million+ seller like Halo: Reach but like all GT games before this generation is over I expect it to reach close to that 10 million mark the series is known for.FlamesOfGrey

August is likely to see a large sales. September with Reach will obviously claim victory. Call of Duty Black Ops, as tradition, will bring more attention to xbox live since it's such a heavy fps system. And of course Kinect and Christ mas will seal the deal.

World wide, it's gonna be a close call. But despite MS's terrible E3, I guess it didn't matter

I know this sounds kind of offensive, but most of the world doesn't give a flying turtle about what happends at E3. Things we saw at E3 won't be known by the (consumer-buying-not-huge-gaming-fans-that-discuss-games-in-forums-like-us) public 2-3 weeks before release, and even by then, we have a general idea of how it will be. Ask 100 people on the street what E3 is, and only about 15 would ever be able to respond. The rest don't care.

I turned my xbox on a few months ago, for the first time in almost a year, and Halo 3 is still in there. I will buy Reach, and that game will remain in the console for the remaining duration of the console. As a big fan of the original xbox, MS has completely changed direction on their fanbase to the point where I don't even care what is coming out.

Yep its true they will have at the very least a mild effect...and no-one can really predict how large it could end up being. I mean from a casual standpoint Kinect is a lot cooler than the Wii-mote...and casuals just jump at the next gimmick soo...
