[QUOTE="ferret-gamer"] What size and color box the system that runs the game is really makes no difference. You don't like kb/m, plug in a controller.harshv82
I like kb+m for FPS and strategy games, thats not exactly the point.
With PC, you have to turn it on, wait for windows to load, type in your password, wait again, check out email and ebanking (at least I always feel the urge to do that as sooon as I start the PC), wait for antivirus to update its database, you sit in not very comfortable position all the time, if you just bought a new game you have to install it, setup the graphical options to make sure it looks good and still has good framerate, then it doesnt work properly so you have to reinstall video drivers, it still occassionaly crashes but you dont know why etc. etc.
With console, you lie on your sofa, relax, start your console, run a game and play it.
I know you can argue that you can use your computer with TV and gamepad too, but you still need to use keyboard and mouse to at least run a game and do all the other stuff Windows need all the time, you will get owned online by ppl that use mouse and keyboard and it generally sucks, thats why noone does it afterall.
hahahahahahaha. Wait let me breathe.
You opened my eyes for the first time. I never knew PC gaming was this complicated. And my antivirus doesn't get updated everytime I login to computer, I should sue antivirus company for not providing me with updates everytime I login.
Nice to see I opened at east someones eyes. ;)
I believe ppl that arent completely braindead understood that I deliberately overexaggerated the complications to ilustrate the difference in comfort of gaming on PC versus gaming on a console. Im not finding excuses like someone said (Excuses for what afterall? I can game on whatever I want, it is solely my decision that I game on PS3.), Im finding reasonswhy games sell on consoles much more than on PC - in other words why people preffer consoles over PC for gaming (and its a fact that people prefer them).
