But in the numbers game 9>8.5

Out of 10 or so friends who have it, I would say about 2 still play regularly ( I don't) so I dont know If I could say it met hype

Game is a ton of fun and oen of this gens best games imo.

Diablo1 and 2 I loved to death and part 3 is very good to!

Not perfect but very good.

I hated WOW, but D3 is Blizzard back on top imo.

I did not find Diablo 3 to live up the hype. Even tho we'll never actually know; I totally believe that if this game was made by a different developer, it would've gotten owned and if the developer was an unknown one, it probably would've scored a 7 or lower.

I'd agree if Patch 1.0.3 didn't exist.

Then how can you not see the huge flaws in this game ? It has the Diablo Shell but under that its just not the same. Seeing how well they made Starcraft gave me hope for Diablo 3, But after playing I was brought into a buggy imblanced world where if you don't roll a DH in its current state then your gimping yourself in Hell/Inferno. Im suprised it has been getting 9.0s the back crippling issues such as server lag would get Murdered on every review site if this WASN''T a Diablo game, but since it is it just feels like critics just wen't with the hype. Im not saying its a bad game far from it, it was worth the money I spent, but considering the hype production values and everything else the game feels like it came from a different developer, some middle to low developer and not from Blizzard, first game that has dissapointed me from them.

I didn't think I would end up enjoying Diablo III to be honest, but it turned out to be substantially more fun than I expected. I'm anxious to see how the PVP will turn out on this one.
