How is DICE raising the bar and setting a HIGH standard holding PC gaming back? If anything it's pushing PC gaming forward by raising the standards that blows away the consoles.

Seriously, I don't know why consolers are complaining. It's called technological progression. I am glad they got rid of the DX 9 crap and focusing on DX 10/11 first. By focusing on the PC first they could make the game as best as they possibly can. Focusing on the PC first and then dumbing it down for the consoles is the best way to push tech.

I concur. Why would you not want DICE to push tech so they could make the best game possible and raise the bar, is beyond me.

If BF3 can be maxed out on a single GTX 580, then you definitely can. especially by the time it comes out.

The only MAJOR HOLE in your argument is that a GTX 580 is WELL WITHIN the 5-7% range. It's up there with the top 2%-3%.
