DICE targeting 30fps for Battlefield 3 on console

THere is no real difference..Been there and seen it..done it..its something the PCelites blew out of proportion to TRY and put consolers in their place..didnt work.

You should really try playing a game like BC2 on the PC at 60+ FPS and then try playing it on the consoles..you WILL see a difference.

I should know since i own both the PC and 360 versions of the game.

you know when someone is a console kid when they say "your eye cant see XX amount of frames per second anways"

on PC, dont dont SEE them... you FEEL them. I can FEEL the smoothness, quickness of 30-40, 40-50, 50-60+. yes 60+ is better on PC

There is a huge difference, especially when playing online competitively. In CSS I notice diferences from 60-120fps.

Well, since current generation consoles can not handle it higher than 3-fps or even with all of its features turned on... too bad so sad.

I laugh at anyone who claims this. Tell me when you were playing Fighting games back in the day at the arcades and all those games ran at 60FPS yet you wouldn't know the difference if all of a sudden Fighting games switched to 30FPS.

There is a difference. If you can't tell its because you've never experienced it. But then again I do not expect someone to know what a nice dinner and a 5* Hotel experience is like if they are eating cereal a top their toilet seat.

That pretty much sums up why a super-cinematic game like Call of Duty would be better off with 30fps (for singleplayer) than its ugly 60fps.

Not only does 30fps play just fine when you're up against AI in the campaign, but strap it together with some motion blur, and it'll actually start looking like a blockbuster movie (rather than a soap opera with a Hans Zimmer score).
