Did Sony win 2012? It was a great year for the Playstation 3!!!!

If this is a winning year, its no wonder my PS3 was dusty.

I've been a diehard cow most of this gen but I can't defend this year. The PS2 HD remasters were more interesting as were some notable additions to the PS1 classics (Legend of Dragoon & Tomba). Best PS3 exclusive this year was a Wii game ( Tales of Graces F). Next year looks great with a lot of potential but this yeah... meh

First the PS3 boots 360 into last place and takes over sales leads,

then Journey wins GOTY, and on top of all this, 2012 was a great year for PS3 exclusive hype as 2013 looks to destroy this whole gen in terms of the sheer volume of games being released!!!!!

It was a great year to be a PS3 owner, and it only gets better from here! Merry Boxing Day everyone, and a Happy New Year!!!!!!!

Even though I think that Sony did have a very traditional year with their Playstation 3 Computer Entertainment System, I'd say that Nintendo won the year over by really grabbing the interest of both the traditional gamers and newer gamers and really providing a seamless and rich experience that can satisfy both gamers alike.

Ended the year with a bang to boot with Journey being heralded as the game of th year beating out the likes of FarCry3, Halo4, Diablo3, etc.

When did Sony take over #2? Last I read, that was Cow speculation; as the sales nubers for the PS3 and 360 were not in the same time period.

Nah I'd say 360 had a better year for the first time since 2007. 2013 though PS3 is back on top.

Great year for the PS3 !!! Only one wordvariety, Starhwak, Twisted Metal, Journey and so on, provided me with great gaming experience!
