Did you finish Witcher 3?

I was playing Witcher 3 for a while but then Arkham Knight came out. Now my current dilemma is that MGS V is will be here in a few weeks and then comes Fallout 4 and Persona 5. So by the looks of it, I may never end up finshing. What about you, SW? Did you beat Witcher 3? I should be clear that I've done a lot of side stuff along with main campaign. I wanted to do it all lol.

I stopped for about a month because I needed to go back and replay a quest on top of being busy. It was also delayed by hearing a big patch was coming (1.07)

I just finished the last English translation book a couple days ago (Baptism of Fire). Marred by a horrible translation in parts, but a good series of books nonetheless. There are 2 more novels in the series and 1 more short story anthology that hasn't been translated yet. Odd because the books came out in the 90's.

I'm at the point where I'm willing to wait for the GOTY edition or a cheap core game + season pass bundle.

Not even close. Haven't played it in a week or two because of my backlog but I'll get back into it. Awesome game so far though.

I'm level 16 and still looking for Dandelion. So no. I blame Gwent.

I'm doing 24 lv missions though.

I'm slowly working on it. About 280 hours in, level 19, playing on hard, exploring alot, and i think i'm still far from the end!

I still haven't completed Witcher 1 or 2. I can't hang with the shitty combat systems.

I am level 9 and abandoned it.

Waiting for the inevitable Enhanced Edition or GOTY edition. they announced a new game + and are fixing more stuff.

the game really did release in beta state and i'm not going to support that type of practice while every reviewer including gamespot gives it a pass.

Yes and i'm on my 2nd play through now. One of the few open world games that kept me interested in its main story

Yeah I finished it and did nearly all the side quests too. I'll play it again but not till they're done with all the patches. Really good game even at launch though I kind of wish I'd waited having seen all they're doing to it along the way.

Was 30hrs in. PC got formatted. GOG sucks too much to support cloud saving. Ended up starting a new game of Witcher 2.

I stopped playing it to play Arkham Knight also. Then I got side tracked by Wolfenstein Old Blood. Trying to finish up some collectables on that game then I will probably head back and finish TW3.

I really not interested in any of the games that are coming up. So I should be able to finish TW3, and finally go back and finish Unity and Far Cry 4.

Yep, after about 80 hours. Great game.

I decided to 100% it, I'm on the last island but got sick of playing by then. Taking a break and probably rushing through the story when I pick it up again. There's just way too many side missions etc if you ask me. They're not that rewarding either. Really hoping for a gwent only DLC though.

I stopped playing when the arkham knight came out, but im almost finished that now (incredible game) so ill probably hop back into the witcher.

No but I'm very very close, I might finish it tonight. This game was so bad for my backlog, because it is so Immersive (I loved Batman but after a few hours decided to go back to W3 and finish that Instead) that almost every other game in my collection took a back seat.

My real dilemma will come after I finish the W3.....I need to also finish Dragon Age Inquisition, but the problem is that after the Witcher 3 I feel like taking a small break from RPG games, but I have a window now before Fallout 4 comes out.....hmmm ....choices choices

Nope not yet. Not sure when I'll play it again since I'm kind of burnt out on open world rpgs. I reached Skellige and explored a few islands but still got a ways to go.

I did stop when Arkham Knight came out, but Arkham Knight sucks, so it did not hold my attention for too long. Ultimately, however, I never got around to playing more Witcher 3, because Splatoon also came out and I started putting time into it instead. Maybe I should return to it some time.

Well, the one in Withcer 3 at least is acceptable.

Still 1/3 in but Batman AK has got all my attention now, might finish it eventually if I take 4 weeks of annual leave.

Yep 73 hours and 38 mins I believe. Loved the story. Hated the stupid little treasures that really gave nothing.

Yea I finished in like 2.5 weeks after release, it coincided with some time off so I just no life'd the fucker. The playtime tracking thing in game broke so I have absolutely no idea how long it took me to finish it.

Going to replay it at some point but likely not for a while.

Got bored and backlogged it. The game drags on after a while.

Also reached the point where character progression in terms of new abilities/weapons/armor felt lacking.

Yup, great game. CDPR is almost at Bethesda levels of awesomeness when it comes to open worlds

Batman happened. Then I decided to do and subsequently drifted away from Bayonetta 2 again. Getting back to Bayo 2 soon, Witcher next.

Nah, I honestly stopped because I hate the gamefeel in that game.

The game world, the questing, the choices? all about that shit, that's awesome, the music is grand. The playing it part? Honestly turns me off. But, they recently patched the feel of the movement to not be dog shit, so I'm holding out hope that one more patch is out there that makes the combat good. #Believe.

I'm on my second run on the hardest difficulty. It's not so bad but you have to up your game a bit. So yeah, I completed it.

Witcher 3 is a game of such scope and complexity that it would've always been in a beta state upon release. There's no way they could find all the bugs and flaws without it hitting the market first.

Nope but I'm getting close I suppose. I'm level 22 and have to find allies in Skellge, Valen (Baron killed himself there so that was out of the question lol), Novigrad, and some fourth place but can't remember. This game is taking a while to finish due to my job requiring me to travel and I'm not taking my xbox one with me. So yeah.

370 hours Death March completionist run.

My only complaint is that the difficulty scales too poorly with skill/gear progression. Midway through the game everything was already a breeze.

Yes, is there any way to see how many hours I've spent with the game on the ps4?

It shows your play time on the stats and status screen, but if you've put your PS4 in Rest Mode with the game on, then all of that time counts, so it'll be fudged.

Side note: Batman was unplayable on the PC, which gave me time to beat the Witcher 3....I upgraded my HDD to a SSD recently and now Batman runs great with all the Nvidia features enabled, pretty crazy.

Yes. My first play through was 83 hours.

@charizard1605: 81 hours, seems plausible. I thought I played it much more, some of these numbers here seem crazy.
