You can't really be loyal to any company or console. Well, to companies you can be loyal to a certain extent. If you're loyal and buy their games and enjoy them along with games from other companies, that's okay. But if you only play games by that company or only games on a specific console and look down on all other consoles/games, you're not a true gamer.

You are one blind Sony fan if ever saw one. This kinda devotion to a machine is actually sad. I wish you had more devotion to actual games then the system itself.
The only devotion any true gamer should ever have is to great games.
Somehow if I said I'm loyal to Blizzard or Bioware (overrated comapny) I would be looked at a little different. Since it's Sony I'm loser, a fanboy (I call myself a fanman), dork, geek, you name it. Of course you would. PS3 isn't doing well, so yeah, your gonna get called a fanboy. A year from now, the PS3 could be on top, who knows.Though, you keep talking about your loyalty to Sony. So MS and Nintendo don't have any loyal fans? :? MS probably has the least amount of loyal fans, but at least as of right now, that number is growing, while Nintendo and Sony have a substantial amount of loyal fans. However even the most loyal of Sony fans as of right now, either have no plans on getting a PS3 or are simply waiting until a price drop, better gamers, maybe both, etc.

True, Sony has a good strategy no matter how many lems and haters and bad press say otherwise. Honestly at first I didnt think so, which is why I went wii60. But with lackluster 360 sales and a gamecube repeat wii happening, it seems that sony is not in bad shape. It almot harkens back to dreamcast/ps2. So since the wii bored me (nothing personal, just wasnt my kind of thing) I decided to go with the ps3 because I was an early adopter of the ps2 and it skyrocketed in popularity about 2 years into its life and after a major price drop. History repeating itself. I do love my 360 too though, its a great machine. Only prob is that it got 3 great games imo (burnout, oblivion, gears) in a year! That is why I must have two consoles, because game like LP and DR are worth no more then a rent and I want some lasting games from this gen, and frankily the 360 alone will not have that, but combined the two machines work as a great pair. In the next few months alone I can look forward to too human, mass effect, halo 3, lair, heavenly word, and drake's fortune.
