I understand that, but Bioware still put out one game after another to great reviews. First off motorstorm and resistance are amazing games that are both exclusive. Second off the only really amazing exclusives 360 has are gears and HD burnout imo (big burnout fan). I love watching the fanboys attack the ps3's must own games because frankily the 360 consists of mostly must rent games. The technology is amazing (sure itll take a couple years to get going), there are a lot of future great exclusives, and they are making an obvious effort to out do MS and competition is good for ps3 and 360 owners. The psp on the other hand is a bit of a disaster which is why it is being completely redone, but just because they messed up their first handheld doesnt by default mean the ps3 is crap. The ps3 is fantastic.

if you really do enjoy PS3 over the other systems great and they have games you prefer. Just never ever buy a system just cause it says Sony or nintendo or MS or whatever. And you mentioned companys such as bioware. For me I may give a game from them a better look then rest or other developers I like but does not mean I will buy their game.

I think people put them in the top 5 or top 10 when all honestly they belong in the top 15 maybe 20. That's still good. I actually played the earlier Biooware games and enjoyed them. Not as much as games from nintendo, Blizzard, EA, or Konami. Good comapny but not up their with the elite.

A bit off topic here, but Bioware is very overrated. Seriously I post about this a couple months back, and got alot of flack for it. I still don't see Bioware as a 'great company'. Not comapred to EA, Capcom, Nintendo, and Blizzard. When they make a video game that hits mainstream audience then maybe. I understand that, but Bioware still put out one game after another to great reviews. Saying they are overrated is like saying these reviews are not justified, not that you just don't personally like them.Well, usually when someone says something is overrated they just don't like it.
OverRATED. When I read this I focus in on the "rated" part of the word. I see where you are coming from though. Because casuals are always attracted to the games that have the names "Madden" or "Live" on the cover box. If they ever figure out that they're getting the same games each year, for the most part, then EA's got a prob. :P
And as far as the curing cancer. lets see several 10,000s of doctors from schools such as M.I.T. , Yale, Stanford and etc. have not found a cure yet but 15 year olds with a ps3 are the key now? hmmm ya that aint gonna happen so my bets on the doctors still.rybe1025

Doctors, yes doctors, are still the ones doing the curing, but there is no way they can map out protein strands amino acid for amino acid with out billions of computations. So the ps3 is doing the computations and readings for them. It is not curing anything, it is just mapping out the proteins which could then help doctors devise a cure. But anyone with a science degree will tell you that curing cancer is a long ways off, and that this is more of a mapping project then a curing project. If people were told they were mapping proteins they would not do it but since they are being told that they are curing something they do do it. Nonetheless it is very cool, people are just misinformed, and if you have a ps3 you should participate in this because it is very important to the science community that we map out as many proteins as possible because this would have implications in everything from disease to organ transplant.

MS probably has the least amount of loyal fans, but at least as of right now, that number is growing, while Nintendo and Sony have a substantial amount of loyal fans. However even the most loyal of Sony fans as of right now, either have no plans on getting a PS3 or are simply waiting until a price drop, better gamers, maybe both, etc.

You are telling them "make whatever, I'll buy it!". That is why being loyal to brands is a bad thing. PS3 is far from a crappy product. The technology is amazing (sure itll take a couple years to get going), there are a lot of future great exclusives, and they are making an obvious effort to out do MS and competition is good for ps3 and 360 owners. The psp on the other hand is a bit of a disaster which is why it is being completely redone, but just because they messed up their first handheld doesnt by default mean the ps3 is crap. The ps3 is fantastic. I didn't intend to sound like I think the PS3 is crappy. I love mine and really do think its excellent hardware. My post was in response to someone claiming "Sony loyalty" in one of his previous posts, and that he would support anything Sony releases not just Playstation products. I was assuming this meant he would buy anything that they would release, even if it was crappy, since this is what he seems to be trying to say.
