Give me a break; Neither DF or Beyond 3D are biased on multiplat comparisons at all, nor do they bash PS3 too often. If that were true, then they would've said something like "360 wins with all multiplats."

That I get it when I turn around quickly? I just notice that the most because I do it kind of a lot. Never know if my follower is keeping up.:P

I guess some of you guys are just lucky. I play Skyrim on PC and it crashes all the time. I personally know about 15 other people playing Skyrim on PC and they all have the same issues.

Only when I come to GS do I see people claiming they never crash to desktop, or only crashed once in 50 hrs.

Guess what? I bought the 360 back in February for this year, so I have a lot to play on the exclusive category. I once had a PS3 (which is back in 2008), then sold it, because I didn't find myself playing it too often.

Also, I don't mainly buy consoles just for exclusives; I buy them for the strong 3rd party support. Some exclusives are good, but it's very pointless when strong 3rd party support doesn't come along with it. That's why I went within the NES, SNES, PS1, Dreamcast, PS2, & Xbox 360. And between 360 & PS3, the 360 would be the system to get for most multiplat games (as well as Xbox Live & most XBLA games), so that's where my decision went down to.

No, it's just that you asked for something that did exactly what that mod does. :p Turning quickly is a good way to jack up your framerate in most games. Probably because it switches too quickly from rendering one whole screen of stuff to anotherCherokee_Jack

For 2011, Digital Foundry gave the nod to El Shaddai and Saints Row: The Third on the PS3. They also tied Batman AC, Battlefield 3, amd Dark Souls.

Yeah my brother is over 100 hours in on the PS3 version and he's getting really annoyed by the framerate issues. Sometimes the game plays almost like a slideshow. Not to mention the really long loading times.

Last generation before I ever used internet forums, and places like DF didn't exist, I still found myself choosing to play multiplat games where they were best played, and this was prior to having lots of money, so it's not as if I ever owned every system.

I don't get why people don't make some attempt to play multiple systems. If you're a PS3 fan you should get a 360, or PC for the games that work better elsewhere, and then keep your PS3 for the games that work better there.

I don't think I could tolerate Skyrim on the PS3 like the fanboys do. It'd drive me crazy. When I game I want the best performance, and therefore experience, possible. Being a fanboy would get in the way of that which is why it's stupid.

This presents an interesting delemia for video game journalists as while a game may be great, does it deserve a lower score or more negative review if it is plauged with bugs? My answer is yes it should be. However like you said many times a review is just a copy and past of a different platform where other or less bugs are present or in other cases reviewers simply do not have the time to encounter bugs. (i.e. If you played Battlefield 3's mutliplayer for five hours for a review as opposed to say twenty, chances are you will see different results in the amount of bugs and glitches you encounter). If a game does not play well due to bugs and glitches it should get a more negative review.

to be very honest, I don't even know why a Patch was implemented.

lol Maybe I didn't word my post well enough. I'm calling BS on Tykains post, not yours. And yes I do play Skyrim along with most other multiplats on a PC that is simply overkill for most games that exist.

And yes, even though Skyrim looks and runs great on my machine, it still randomly crashes from time to time. You can not honestly say that Skyrim can be played for 10 hrs straight w/out crashing. :lol:

I have about 70 hrs logged into the game with about five crashes. Luckily each crash came right when I loaded to another area, autosave, via doorway or fast travel. I have not had a single crash in about 20 hrs, knocks on wood...

Looking at these head to head results from 3 different sites I have to wonder why anyone in the world would buy a PS3 version of a multiplat when they have both consoles.

Fo3 GOTY edition crashed more times in 1 hour than in the entire lifespan of my PS3 before hand.Its like asking to be burned buying bethsoft games on a PS3 i know i'll be ripped apart by silly cows but i dont give a crap, Bethesda's never had a good track record on PS3 and if your surprised Skyrims extra buggy on PS3v then you must be smoking too much pot.
