It's worst for your PS4 Pro camp when 60 fps is targeted i.e. 1280x720p (921,600 pixels) against 1920x1080p (2,073,600 pixels).

A GTX 1080ti is way more powerful than what they have in an Xbox One X and will play games at much smoother framerates and probably very slightly higher rendering settings depending on the game. Screenshots won't do it as much justice just as PC vs. Xbox One screenshots at 1080p don't show that dramatic of a difference. 30fps vs 60fps is a pretty dramatic different. It's literally doubling the pixels per second output.

I don't know why you're getting all upset either. Why does it matter than a much more expensive GPU beats a console? Of course it will, you're getting a full console for the price of a single component. The thread I said all that in was this weird attempt at trying to convince people that a multiplatform game can somehow show off the power of a console even though there will be direct PC footage that shows just how far behind the Xbox One X still is despite being brand new. It made no sense. I even said in that thread that I believe a 1st party exclusive would do that far better. I still believe that.

Power isn't the XboneX's problem. It will be developers making exclusive titles on the platform that look good and people want to play.

Not true, increased texture resolution is one aspect only. With added power and decreased CPU bottleneck, you get smoother frame rates, added assets that can be handled on screen easier (this directly affects the visual fidelity of the imagery and art being displayed) and then extra effects can be added with left over 'spare' power if the devs want.

Now for exclusives, that seems to be MS Achilles heal, since any that they have, are typically shared with PC and thus denied the exclusive title, even though PS might not get the game. That being said, it will handle them better than a mid-range PC, but not as good as a high-end PC. I don't think MS will ever get console specific exclusives ever again, nor do I think they are trying to get those. They want PC to succeed since it drives more Windows software sales for them.

There will be games on XB1X that will look better then Horizon. Anthem is just the tip of the iceberg. If a game like Horizon looks as good as it does on the PS4 Pro, just imagine what games will look like on the XB1X. Horizon: Zero Dawn would not only look better on the XB1X, but also run better. Don't think anyone will be getting owned at this point.

@blackace: nope, you need talent like Guerrilla Games to take advantage of the hardware. Microsoft has no talent like that and third party devs have no resources to optimize games in such a level. Like I said, there are already machines in the market much more powerful than the X1X and they struggle to showcase something that looks better than Horizon. Why would a slightly better machine like the X1X make any difference?

There are many games that look better than Horizon (and not just Anthem, which annihilates Horizon). The fact that the X1X is 50% more powerful will improve the appearance and performance of games is a good thing for gamers around the world. If you are a console gamer, clearly you will want an X1X if you want the best multiplatform games, and you enjoy the exclusives that Xbox offers. For me, I want the best of both worlds, so I have a PS Pro and an X1S, and will get an X1X on day one.

Then I injured myself, was really high on painkillers, and figured raging at people on the internet might be good therapy. Which is why I only really popped up 4-5 months ago.

I trust DF but they have never said that the X1X is 50% more powerful than the PS4. These are statements DF has said though:

-Checkerbord 4k looks as good as native and you wouldn't be able to notice the difference unless you're a few feet away.

-Only Forza on E3 from Microsft's side was actually running on native 4k

Apart from that they have mentioned nothing about percentages or much about differences in power.

Also I trust Sony 1 million times more than MS. Sony was not very honest last gen but this gen they have been pretty straightforward unlike Microsoft which haven't stopped lying and lying and making up BS terms just to deceive naive lemmings that have trouble thinking for themselves. Hell they don't even show sales numbers anymore, lol cowards.

Nope. Sony and Microsoft are both lying, conniving, dishonest, untrustworthy corporations, equally. It's a sad state of affairs. And they surely did mention difference in power, which was a hot topic when the video they did came out.

I don't want to "believe" anything. Numbers don't lie, you can choose not to believe facts but they are facts either when you want them to be or not. I never said 40% more powerful is not an advantage but it is a pretty pathetic advantage when we're talking about a $100 more expensive machine with a game library that pales quality-wise in comparison to the competition.

I was not upset now or then. I was actually even pretty clear about wanting you to take a pic of of your PC game to compare to an X1X game since you kept bragging about PC vs X1X. I did not put a $ in front of the 700, We already had a discussion about that $700 card so I thought you would have understood but we all know what they say about when you assume. You were saying the X1X is not that good because PC gamers like you have these $700 graphic cards, So I said I am looking forward to your PC screenshots for a game like Anthem. I understand a PC gamer can pay for 4x the X1X price and achieve more, heck if a PC gamer really wants to spend several thousand they can even do 8k, but the thing is most can not do it. All PC gamers talk about how they "could" run everything at 8k with 60 fps but the truth it most PC gamers are far below that and the stats show it.

Think of this like cars the X1X is a Ford GT which is an amazing car that costs around $500k and the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is $2.5 mil, the price is far different but their car stats are not that different. So it is like how PC is vs how consoles are now.

As far as the alt thing, I already admitted I was wrong. I average 1k posts a year and when you consider stuff like E3 or other big events I am clearly not on here on a daily basis. I do not recognize everyone. At least from the past this site had a huge problem with alts, even from mods. Like I said I was wrong but that is where the mistake happened.

In a nutshell to a PC gamer that generally likes to trash the Xbox, lets see what ya got. I am kinda curious if you have a rig that beats the X1X and if so how much you had to spend to do it.

Games will look 3.5743 times better than on the Ps Pro and 7.2674 than the base PS4. That means 12.01 over the base xbox and roughly -2.5764357764 and 39.6448865432566 the PC. This will obviously translate into a personal enjoyment rate of 108.4 according to 2017s standard rate that should be ajusted asa 99.98 for 2018.
