Do you buy DLC? POLL

Well?

I don't because I don't care about what it usually offers. The only game that has DLC that I care for that I can tink of now is Fallout 3 and that's exactly why I'm waiting for the GOTY edition.

I buy a fair bit, if it adds content, not really into map packs. I think it's great if they can extend the enjoyment I get from a favourite game, I dont think it's harming games. If your not happy with the original game don't buy it.

I find it funny when people hate on DLC. I remember the days when you WISHED you could have 3 more levels, 2 new characters, a little more content etc etc. Now it's cool to hate on it...at least on these boards.

New content is always nice if there's a reasonable amount of new content for what you're paying (and not $X for Horse Amour, or $5-10 for an extra quest or two). Expansion packs used to be much better value, imo.
The new trend of paying to unlock stuff that's already on the disc is not nice and should be stopped ASAP.

The only game I have bought DLC for is Zen Pinball. I don't buy for a game with story mode like Bioshock or Valkyria Chronicles.

DLC's bring better armour and weapons. I like making my characters uber :P

Yes I buy dlc if it seems like its worth the money. Cod map packs are always a good bet as well as halo maps. The lost and the damned for gta was fantastic.

I started with Sonic and Knuckles for the Sega Genesis, however it wasn't downloadable but same idea. I only buy expansions, I never buy weapons or armor for DLc though.

The versus mode was on the RE5 disc and but u had to play £5 to unlock it.

One of the main reasons I buy so few Xbox games now is that I can get them for cheaper on the PC and get free DLC.Plus I wanted to get the lost and the damned but the MS points system just annoys me.

I refuse to buy DLC. I am used to getting free content on PC so why on Earth would I pay for it now ?

$60 for a game is already WAAAAAAY overpriced. On top of that you don't mind paying for stuff that's supposed to be already included with the game? Rich people these days...
