Do you neglect the wii because you own the other consoles of this gen?

It usaully goes both ways. It just depends on what game I'm playing at that moment.

I have both a 360 and a Wii, But because of the oh so many 360 games that ive been playing ( GTA, COD, LO) and the games in the past like Gears, I barley play the wii, heck I only beaten 2 games, SSBB and RE4 ( for like the 20th time) even though I have awesome games like Zelda, Galaxy, Secret Rings, wii play. I didnt get Mario Kart because I knew that GTA was going to be the better pick ( also I only had enough money for one) Every time I popped in Galaxy, I played for 30 minutes - an hour tops, then I switched back to the 360 to play COD4. I actually got bored with Zelda :O as a result I never finished it the sky temple is sooo boring IMO. So am I the only one who neglects the wii because I own a 360? Who else neglects the Wii because they own a 360, PC and or PS3?ImSwordMan

Well, I finally got a new game for Wii, Mario Kart(which I'm highly disappointed in). But I have neglected my 360 more than the Wii.Chutebox

Yes, most definitely. I have a PS3, PSP and a Wii and I have spent hardly any amount of time with the Wii in comparison to my other consoles, despite having owned a Wii since launch and having owned a PS3 for only 8 months.

The Wii is a disappointment IMO. :( If it weren't for Mario Galaxy i'd probably hate it.

So far in 2008, I would say it goes 360, Wii, PS3

I liked the Wii, but I didnt love it like I thought I did. It hurt to spend $50 on some of those games. Zelda? SMG? Super Paper Mario? Ok, all justified $50 purchases, but not alot of replay value in my opinion. They're great games, but I just couldnt stomach spending $50 on a game like Mario and Sonic at the Olympics or Mario Party 8 when instead I could invest that money into a game like Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Condemned 2, and the Orange Box.

If the Wii library retailed for like $30 bucks a pop I probably would have bought more, but to spend $50 on some of that stuff just hurt. lol.

You just dont like the wii. I have a wii and a 360 and I have just dusted off my 360 for GTA but still play MKW as well.

As you all can see this is a prime case of fanboyism. They commonly traverse through SW and think their own bias actually are a good observation of the things they bash.

If i'm neglecting my Wii, it's because i'm too busy to play games. I was neglecting my 360, but I just bought GTA4. In the end i'm always playing the Wii more than the 360. Last night me and 5 friends were playing Mario Kart and then Brawl. I just see it as the best console for local multiplayer. I'm not into local multiplayer shooters, I think it's cause of the small screens, for racing it's fine, but not shooters, atleast thats how I feel.

I only own 3 360 games, other games like Assassin's Creed, which my brother owns and has finished playing, I borrow from him and play them months after release. I think it's just cause I don't have time to play so many games. Like, i'm sure Bioshock is a great game, Orange Box, etc..., but I just don't have the time to play them all, so i've never played them.

So I wouldn't call it neglect, I don't think anyone here has the time to play them all, so maybe that's why some people bought a Wii later, and only got 2 games and say they are neglecting it. It's the other way around for me. I have 17 Wii games and 3 360 games.

Even if, normally you buy the next-gen console cause you've played all the good games last generation...

I mean, you know the games are 'BETTER' because you've played them right? Are you going to never buy another console and replay these same games?

I don't know, it just seems like you don't get it. I think, or...hope, you know there are great games on the Wii, Atleast 5 must-own games on the Wii. If you got one, I garantee your not going to buy all five games at once, so why complain that one console has 15 amazing games, and one only has like...8, if you wait 2 years to buy the Wii, then do it. Same for any console. It'd bound to accumilate enough amazing games for you to buy, and you'll be overwhelmed to play them all at once, so you won't get bored of it.

I neglect my 360, because it doesn't have any games I'm interested in. I might get Eternal Sonata though, and Ninja Gaiden 2 later.

This is elitist BS to the max. people are so arrogant here. The Wii would not be selling so well and not top the software charts with hardcore and non gamer games if people were not playing it. That whole Wii Sports being the only game myth is dead. If anything PS3 has issues. Lack of million sellers suggests that people are not sing it as much as gamers are playing the Wii or 360.

I find it more fun to play online with my friends over LIVE and get achievements then playing games like Super Mario Galaxy or Uncharted. Both single player games offering no value to me. I have both actually and haven't even started them yet! I keep saying "After I beat this game I'll play Galaxy of Uncharted yet I ALWAYS find myself either buying or Gameflying another 360 title and playing that over the others. Since getting both Uncharted and Galaxy I have played GTA IV, Condemnded 2, Conan, and DMC 4 over the other games lol!

I neglect the Wii because I don't like the games that are on it. I want to see Nintendo become a software company like Sega so they can stop holding my favorite franchises hostage with rehashes, spin-offs, and tailored to systems with poor graphics, poor online, and crap controls.JocktheMotie
