I have both a 360 and a Wii, But because of the oh so many 360 games that ive been playing ( GTA, COD, LO) and the games in the past like Gears, I barley play the wii, heck I only beaten 2 games, SSBB and RE4 ( for like the 20th time) even though I have awesome games like Zelda, Galaxy, Secret Rings, wii play. I didnt get Mario Kart because I knew that GTA was going to be the better pick ( also I only had enough money for one) Every time I popped in Galaxy, I played for 30 minutes - an hour tops, then I switched back to the 360 to play COD4. I actually got bored with Zelda :O as a result I never finished it the sky temple is sooo boring IMO. So am I the only one who neglects the wii because I own a 360? Who else neglects the Wii because they own a 360, PC and or PS3?ImSwordMan

This sounds almost like me, verbatim. I have about 35-40 stars in Galaxy, couldn't even bring myself to finish RE4 (one of my favorite games ever), beat the Sky Temple in Zelda (annoying) and then stopped, and decided to skip Mario Kart and buy GTAIV instead (although I've never played a GTA game in my life). I beat Smash Bros. but don't play it too often, and I haven't even finished Metroid Prime 3 (which I really liked). The majority of my time gaming is spent on the 360 (Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed and Oblivion lately), and on the rare occasion that I'm not playing the 360, I'll attempt to give my PS3 at least two minutes of playing time.

The Wii is an excellent system, but it doesn't have enough games (at the moment) that appeal to me, and even the ones that do appeal to me get lost on the side when something new comes out on one of the other two systems...

No. In fact, it's been the opposite. I've been busy with school and stuff, and when I do play games, it has been on the Wii. But that's going to change this summer, when I get GTA4 (stupid essays and finals :evil: ) I will be playing that much more. And I'll get some of the games that I have wanted to play for a while, but haven't had the time for because of school. However, I will still play my Wii. I think that by the end of the generation, both my Wii and 360 will have gotten about equal play time from me.

As an owner of all 3 systems, your post strikes a chord with me. I *do* tend to play my Wii the least, by far. Even though I enjoyed Galaxy quite a bit, I have no desire to finish Metroid Prime 3, SSBB, or many other games in my collection. I enjoyed SSBB, but I played it for awhile before I realized how horrific the online component was, and now I'm bored.

I too, never finished Zelda.... it was well made and all, but nothing compelled me to play it to the end. Which is saying something, because Zelda is my favorite game series of all time (before Phantom Hourglass came out, that is).

Now that I think about it....Anyone in the San Diego area want to buy a Wii?.... :lol:

I gave examples how you could completely disarm great games with a simple fanboy remark similar to everything Ive heard you say.

Also one game cannot mke a system. IF SMG was the only game then your fanboy BS would make sense. Similar if GTAIC was the only game for 360 then that would warrant people to say it sucked.

I'm pretty much the same way. I'd say I put in more time on the Wii in general--I'm still working on Zack & Wiki, and lately I've been playing a lot of SSBB and MK Wii. Plus, there's always the occasional game of Wii Sports or Guitar Hero III.

I guess in recent days I have been playing 360 a little bit more, but I can only play so much COD4 or Halo 3 at a time before I start getting frustrated. Psychonauts is really fun, though.

Id love to see MGS4 on 360, but its NEVER going to happen, im more sure of this than my AAA hype list for PS3. Kojima is too much of a fanboy, and by the grace of God, in this current casual industry, it might sell well enough that it wont need a port.

The game would be too different, i.e. way too superior. I agree, they would probably cancel the PS3 version all together, due to it holding the developing team back.

RFOM2 is going to take whats best about the first game and then expand it even more, heck 60 player MP and 6 player co-op! Motorstorm 2 will have its same awesome gameplay, but this time with content, and so itll get AAA, and Killzone 2 was held back by the PS2 and happens to the best looking game ever. And yes, i have a gaming PC and ive got Crysis, yet i can still say Killzone 2 looks better

The game would be too different, i.e. way too superior. I agree, they would probably cancel the PS3 version all together, due to it holding the developing team back.

Gaming is not dying esp when GTAIV, SSBB, and big games like that sell better now than they did before. Just because there are games like Wii Fit (which looks good despite your quaint remarks).

Naming simple numbers and smiley faces does not change the fact that Wii has an awsome lineup of games to play.

Back in the PSone and PS2 days, we used to get million sellers every week, that day is gone because all the casuals are deluded by Wii and its copy of Wii sports:(

PS1 and 2 casualized the market more than ever. Wii is just another attempt at a broader market. PS1 enriched the market and Wii will do the same.

I dont think a prediction from you should be taken with a grain of salt. Take of the goggles and just enjoy games. Obviously the brand is the biggest thing for you. Anything with Nintendo automatically makes it suck. Your wrong and you have not given any good reasons.

"Selling well" would be the wrong use of words, to a point that it's false and far from the truth. Let's just say it's selling better than it used to. I don't see how that's relevant though, as Kojima is going to port it to 360/PC regardless due to PS3's irreversible inferior hardware, low sales is only a secondary reason.

The Wii is only selling on par with the PS2, yet isnt coming anywhere close to selling as many games. Also, the PSone and PS2 had plenty of hardcore games and for their times were CAPABLE consoles

The Wii couldnt ever run gamer-console games, it doesnt the ability, or its audience does not have the mental ability to process it either:lol:

The Wii has great games esp coming from Nintendo. Good games from third parties are increasing because they are just coming out.

There are more hardcore gamers in its audience or games like RE4 and REUC would not sell millions.

You dont know enough about this industry to assume what is and is not for the Wii so just quit while you are a little behind.
