i bought a Wii on realse having always been a nintendo fanboy, (always will to also have a DS and i still have my snes, 64 and GC) nintendo's are great multiplayer/family consoles (64 had 4 controllers, street fighter 2 turbo and streets of rage) but after the novelty wore off, i bought a ps3 i leave the Wii in the living room for the family.

Mario kart was such a let down, again i was excited at first then i got really bored, :-( i thought it would be the game that got me off COD4 *sighs*

How about you open your eyes and see what they are really playing. million sellers like SMG, SSBB, MKW, RE4, REUC, LoZ: TP, GHIII, Super Paper Mario, Wario Ware, Mario Strikers CHarged, Sonic and the Secret Rings, MP3, RS and so on. ANy game that is casual has only sold a million because of some sort of hardcore influence.

You dont support gamers you give them a bad name and have not done anything but say Cooking Mama is the sle reason why wii is terrible and casual.

Incorrect. The only region where your statement is true for is Europe. PS2 had a shortage at launch that continued into well into its first year due to a fire at one of their factories. It still managed to beat the Xbox and Gamecube which is sad lol.

Anyway, your practically admitting you were wrong by:

1) Rounding up the amount of PS2 million sellers from 196 to "over 300". If I hired you as my company's PR, I would've been sued until I went bankrupt.
2) Your comparing how much million sellers the PS2 had in 8 years compared to Wii's 1 and a half.
3) You made fun of Japan's gaming taste, while prasing Europe's and the US's.

Yeah "TheMysticHorse" has made many silly posts that ive seen on this forum. He's a Wii basher and cant back up ANY of his claims. But back to the topic. I dont neglect my Wii but I have neglected Mario Kart Wii only because of GTA IV. I think Nintendo should have put this game out a little sooner because I dont think it can compete with such a high profile release. The only system I am neglecting this gen is my PS3. I just dont understand how this system can be out for as long as it has and not have any must have exclusives. I'm a little ticked with Sony right now. But the wait will be over soon. If your gonna reply please do so without abunch of smily faces it does not hide the fact that your not even thinking about what you say.

PS2 sold alot of games in the begining because there was no competition. I guess PS3 and 360 are casual systems as well because it did not sell as many million sellers in a year as PS2.

Just give it up you cant give men an intelligent response as to why Wii has so many hardcore million sellers, way more than PS3 and its catching up to 360.

Ex Wii owner here... not only did it get neglected it got sold, even the 360 and the PS3 WERE getting a bit of neglect though (and will continue doing so after GTA4{ps3version}). What has been taking a fair amount of my time though (before GTA) was Sins of a Solar Empire, Bioshock, and Witcher (all PC) and Lost Odyssey to a smaller extent.

The last wii game i played was Galaxy and though fun it didn't grab me enough to play it for more than a couple days (TP sucked, MP3 sucked much less but still kinda sucked) Hell, if it weren't for Mario 64, Super Mario World, R-type 3, Actraiser, and Gunstar Heroes on VC the Wii was next to useless, oh i did play metal slug and bowling quite a bit too... sorry if i offended wii fans but don't let my opinion tarnish your enjoyment :) I'm sure if i liked Smash Brothes i'd still have a Wii but sadly it is not my cup of tea and that is all the Wii can offer for now...
