yea people you can go on nintendowifi.com and check how many people are actually playing these games online, its a joke to compare the wii and ds online userbase to that of the ps3 and 360
ryokinshin6x3
so why does the DS have a userbase trailing Xbox by only 1.5 million?
Yes. I really don't like some of the casual games on Wii right now (TBH, I have Wario Ware and Rayman: RR, but that's mostly because of acclaim), but Virtual Console=win for me. Didn't get the oppurtunity to play the older stuff (except for plenty of N64 titles).
I play on other systems a lot, but Nintendo still has me to cheer on its good stuff.
Do you still support Nintendo?ferolune
No, no, no, hell no, no, no, no, no, hellz no.
I'm not a child anymore... I'll pass.

This looks like an attempt to try to dispell the belief that Nintendo consoles are kiddy. Yeah, that's not going to happen. Nintendo is kiddy. Get over it. At least they're turning profits.
Oh give me a break.
What makes a Nintendo console "kiddy"? Please tell me. And don't say it doesn't have enough Mature games. I just can't understand why people try to use the argument "I grew up" as a valid argument against Nintendo. Really? Metroid is kiddy? Zelda is kiddy? And even though Mario doesn't looke like a mature game, calling it "kiddy" is very inaccurate. Is it because there are kiddy games for Nintendo systems?
And I want a valid argument.
Games: Absolutely. Nintendo is and has always been the greatest and most consistently innovative developer on the market.
Wii Controls: Yes. Despite what fanboys who have probably never actually laid hands on one might hope, the controller does in fact enhance gameplay a great deal, and where it has failed has been entirely the fault of lazy and uninspired third party developers. My only complained is the pointless sacrifice of 3 face buttons, which, truth be told, cannot always be successfully replaced by flicks of the wrist.
Wii Virtual Console: Fantastic. The best backwards compatibility of the Big 3, by far.
Wii Hardware: Not quite. Innovative gameplay and impressive graphics are not mutually exclusive, Nintey should have put enough effort/money in the graphics department to at least make the Wii a reasonable competitor.
Wii Philosophy: Excellent. I have absolutely no problem with anybody creating "casual" or "non-games" to appeal to wider or new audience. And no, I don't buy all these paranoid end-time prophecies about Nintendo diverting developer's financial interests and destroying the hardcore market.
Wii Online: This is by far my biggest gripe. I actually have no interest in online gaming myself, and don't even know much about it, but I do feel for the legions of Wii-owners being constantly left in the dust. That, and it can only hurt Nintendo in the long run.
Overall: Yes, I support Nintendo, and proudly so.
not really way too many huge dumb decisions cartridges for n64, no hd for wii, no next gen hardware for wii, no online for cube
and for every dumb decision they make, I suffer along with them
oh yes.
my family or someone in my familyowned the NES, SNES, N64, GC, GB, GBC, GBA, DS, and I bought the Virtual Boy and Wii. forgive me for the VB, I got it really cheap and it was interesting. Just dont play golf on it! Those 'textures' will burn your retinas!
Yes, because they make games I greatly enjoy. I appreciate their creavity in games. Whether Pikmin to Zelda, or anything in between, they make games that you can appreciate and enjoy, rather by yourself or with others..

because being overly emphatic and saying thing like "hellz no" is a particularly mature way to act.

No, not at all.
The only reason I didn't sell my Wii is because of the fond memories that Super Smash Bros Melee caused to linger in my head. Essentially, Nintendo died for me with the Gamecube. The last good Nintendo made games were on that, and 3rd party essentially died out on that generation for Nintendo. Last gen ports and poorly controlling Nintendo staples do not a great system make.
So, no, I'll officially say this now, I'm PS360 for life (more accurately this generation).
Oh yea, I sold my DS to fund my PS3. Best video game related financial transaction I've made in a long time. You can only play so many Pokemon/Brain Training/Final Fantasy remakes for so long.
Sooooo....since you still have ur Wii then you still show your support. Well played! No, not at all.

Owning doesn't mean STILL supporting. I haven't bought a game for that POS since I prepaid Brawl before E3. So that's the last dime Nintendo is getting from me unless something changes.
Soooo.... I don't support Nintendo.
[QUOTE="ryokinshin6x3"]dude i never said i completely dislike everything from nintendo, by the way people pirate and download ds games as much as psp games
i dont like something nintendo has done, but if you like their games go for it
it shoudlnt have taken them a generation to figure it out
darth-pyschosis
if people pirate DS games as much as PSP then why does it have 30 million sellers?
why has pokemon diamond/pearl sold like 6or 7 million (could be more) copies this year?
why did New Super Mario Bros pass the 11 million mark after a year and a half of release?
i wonder if all the PSP games sold period are more than new super mario bros and pokemon diamond/pearl?
you seriously need a timeout, now a person cant say that they dont like nintendo? well guess what, i havent supported nintendo since the Gameboy advance, now what? are you going to lecture me? Techinaccly Atari was the pioneer not nintendo also people have a right to choose who they like best, when several company´s are competing for the same target audience do you know who is the winner? the consumer, and if other people dont like nintendo then good for them, if they do like nintendo then also good for them and thats it, its people like you that give nintendo fans a bad name
