I feel this could be the game that becomes the next Halo in terms of critical acclaim and success for the Xbox.

A lot of people are attributing "bad animation" etc though to a technique called "sliding" in the game. So that's a void argument if that's ever brought up in SW again.

Its fine not to personally care for a game, but to call it trash because you don't personally care for it (and without giving reasons) is stupid and a worthless comment.

Its pretty much understood that (outside of SF) VF and Tekken are 1 and 1A when it comes to fighting games. After that (or ahead, if you're one of those Dreamcast fans living in the past) comes Soul Calibur. Somewhere down the line is DOA.

If there is anyone that is full of it of the devs in the video game history, it's him Itagaki.

Anoying guy. Like many stated he is just pissed that Tekken always tops his crappy DOA series.

Too bad for Itakagi Tekken has outsold and outscored DOA since it's inception.

Maybe if Itakagi puts as much effort into the slow as underwater gameplay engine than he does into the lifelike bounciness of the female character's breasts, he might make a fighting game that rivals Tekken.

I'm not going to joke here. This was the game that got me excited for this generation. The tech demo was so emotional and amazing. I hope it's really emotional and has a strong story like it lead me to believe in the trailer. It could easily be my favorite game this gen if it can pull off what they did in the tech demo and make a game like that. Indigo Prophecy was simply amazing until the end.

If you didn't know, Heavy Rain is a PS3 exclusive. I don't like Tekken or some other games and I'm automatically a fanboy. That's a pathetic thing to think.

Still....you're wrong about your judgement of me. I notice that some people just skip over the positive stuff I've said many times and pick out the negatives because they want to argue. It's rather annoying. Anyways, that proves I do like PS3 and I do like games on it, but I'm not going to like every single game you like. That doesn't make me a fanboy, that makes me a person who has his own tastes in what he likes and doesn't follow a horde of sheep to the slaughter.

That's not just it. The animations suck all around. SK failed at making a hack and slashy type of game.

I know it's not done. But it won't get much better. You shouldn't get your hopes too high...

Actually there is many DOA tournaments.

And DOA was in Evo2k, I havent checked up on it for a while now, had more important things to do.

I prefer DOA, but i like Tekken as well.
