If you don't like what Nintendo offers, then don't buy it.  Simple as that.  We don't have to put people out of jobs for no reason.

I know I don't know Super well at all, but thats taking it far. That guy from what I can see is one of the most avid Nintendo fans on here.

I dont want them to go out of business or anything, and i certainly dont want anyone to lose their jobs, but i hate their hardware.

The only reason I care if WiiU does well or not is my distaste for motion controls. I hate how it made MS and Sony chase a casual market that no longer exists (they all moved to fruit ninja).

Nintendo (much like JC Penny) seemed to have my likes in mind at one time. Now they seem as foreign to me as Ellen giving a monolog on nightlife in San Francisco.

God no. They have some of the best franchises in the history of gaming and they're the only company that isn't scared to be different. I don't hope any company fails. mems_1224

How exactly is Nintedno being diffrent? They just throw a gimmick on their console and rehash the same old games. Their main games barely use the gimmick except Skyward sword

And no, I dont want to see anyone fail.  Especially not Nintendo considering they have been delivering some of the best games of every gen since they entered the market.

What's the point of wanting a company fail? To see them stop making games that you don't even play?

If the wiiu were to be a huge success then a lot of multiplats would be built around old dx10 hardware instead of much more advanced dx 11 hardware.

Wow. If Nintendo stumbled through the HD era and was still able to win it, then Sony and Microsoft must have not had any legs to race with. The hate is unwarranted. Ignore them if you so wish.

i've just grown sick of their BS. creatively bankrupt, releasing another underpowered console with a new gimmick, refusing to get with the times, endless remakes and rehashes, relying on nostalgia to carry them through. nintendo is like your senile old grandpa. it was cute to watch them stumble through the HD era but now its just getting very tired. I hope the wii-u is a complete failure so nintendo is forced to re-think their cheap tactics.

Fail is a strong word, i want to see them healthy, profitable but not as the industry leader. They're lousy at that. They're better off neutered by a strong PlayStation with all the third party support that generally eludes Nintendo siding with Sony.

Despite the fact that I didn't like the Wii at all, I like the 3DS and there are too many good memories in that company for me to want to see them fail.
