I really want to hear the bells and whistles, like the whinning of the superchargers and the blow off valve's of the turbo chargers.
The flipping ofcars may also (is turn 10 wants)making thefront tires of a 800hp charger get off the ground on launches.
You guys are still ignoring the fact that from what it looks like Forza 3 has half the field size of GT5P. The number of cars on the track greatly affects how good the graphics look (which is kind of why no NASCAR games look awesome due to the 43 cars in the field).Jrfanfreak88who cares aBOUT 15 DIFFERENT SKYLINES, REALLY. 2 DVD's that's good enough for me.
and how is that a problem? I was not seeing into the future just making an educated guess. I have played both the 360 and the PS3 and from what I have seen of them I am saying that both the Forza and GT will be great games - and fanboys for both systems will probably continue to insist that their game is way better and the other looks like crap in comparison.[QUOTE="iowastate"][QUOTE="masiisam"]
But he is not looking into the future ....the game play found in the trailer looked as good as GT5P...and the game still has 4 months to go...
The irony is you start off by saying "you can see in to the future?" as a criticism..... but then go on to say "when GT5 is released I doubt that will be the case." :|

I guess it's a "problem" when we have data to make a comparison between FM3 and GT5P...All Bio said was his opinion on FM3 and GT5P..No where in that post did he say anything about GT5...You chime in and say "Can you can see in to the future?" as a criticism..Then go on to use your own "educated guess" AKA crystal ball and state "when GT5 is released I doubt that will be the case"
You don't see the irony in that?
Besides.....I am specifically speaking of the post I quoted you on...How anyone on this earth can comprehend "you can see in to the future? when GT5 is released I doubt that will be the case" as the intended meaning of "I have played both the 360 and the PS3 and from what I have seen of them I am saying that both the Forza and GT will be great games - and fanboys for both systems will probably continue to insist that their game is way better and the other looks like crap in comparison"
Why not just say that from the beginning?...
where is the irony? again I am just saying there is no reason for worry - no matter what the final look is the hardcore fanboys will not care. their own will be the best and the other will be junk no matter what either looks like in the end. I had been trying to say that from the start but each time it seems to require more words to get the same message through. And since when is a sports sim a good way to test a consoles power anyhow?[QUOTE="masiisam"][QUOTE="iowastate"] and how is that a problem? Where did I say that a sport sim isa good way to test a consoles power?:?
[QUOTE="Mr_Nordquist"]You just listed the insane amount of action in a racing game. The cars take up a lot of polys, along with the 3D environments. And the physics in Forza 2 are very very sophisticated, but i would bet that Forza 3's physics will be even better You're still confined to a track and a small map. FPS's and other open world games (RPGs like Oblivion and Action games like GTA IV) show a consoles true power. It's a racing game though. There isn't an insane amount of action going on beyond cars moving. I donno. I guess we'll have to see how it holds up with the lighting, the physics, the weather, and everything.

Its a racing Sim of course it going to look good. A racing sim on multiple discs and were talking the 360 as powerful as the PS3? give me a break. When i see a game with graphics on the 360 as good as KZ2 or Uncharted 2 get back to me.djsifer01
Convicted and Alan wake.

...wow........might as well add Reach to that too.....[QUOTE="Jrfanfreak88"]You guys are still ignoring the fact that from what it looks like Forza 3 has half the field size of GT5P. No no you don't understand. During the races I have only seen 8 cars on the track for Forza 3, while GT5P has up to 16 cars on the track during a race. This means double the amount of competition in Gran Turismo vs. Forza. I too could care less about how many discs a game comes with or how many different skylines are in the game. What I DO care about, on the other hand, is how challenging the game will be and the more cars racing on the track the better the competition will be. Plus, if everyone here wants to argue graphics then I say Gran Turismo 5 Prologue wins simply because they are basically doing what Forza is graphically (minus damage) with double the amount of cars on the track during races.
