I mean, I am blown away at their ability to make 1, if not more then 1 AAA game every year.
How do they do it?

That would be Blizzard, Bioware, and Valve.TyrantDragon55
BioWare doesn't deserve to be on that list anymore. Not after Mass Effect.
Blizzard, Valve, Nintendo EAD >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Insomniac
They need to take more time on their games.... make more innovations instead of copying everything everone else does. Resistance was a giant mass copy of better games. R&C is very much like other R&C games but better looking. Though all games they make are fun... none are incredible imo.

Nobody's perfect, one game does not just make years worth of masterpieces vanish. And I'm playing Mass Effect right now, seems awesome so far.

Personal opinion = fact? The rest of the gaming world doesn't agree with you. :(
the same could be said about CAPCOM
2006 - Dead Rising
2007 - Lost Planet
2008 - Devil May Cry 4
2009 - Resident Evil 5

My sentiments exactly. By what you are saying....Jade Empire was when Bioware died...

The point of the thread is that Insomniac is a gold like developer. Of course Blizzard, Bioware, and Valve are among the greatest devs. I think Insomniac should get some respect because they release a quality title EVERY YEAR :). No other developer does that. (sports games don't count lol)

Nintendo, Bungie, Infinity Ward.
LOL @ bungie and IW. Not saying they make bad games, but I only know them for sequels of the same game over and over.
Bungie has done a lot more than just Halo. They were responsible for the Marathon and Myth series. They're not up there with the holy trinity but they are a very talented developer. And besides, can you not make the same arguement against Nintendo?

I do...
KOTOR put Bioware on the map, and ever since they have had a hard time doing anything else but KOTOR. Mass Effect was incredible... but for all the wrong reasons imo. I real amazing developer doesn't just put things in just to add content (the extra planets of ME), but they will make everything there for a purpose. Or at least fun to play

It does ruin their record, though. Blizzard and Valve both have perfect records. Each game they make becomes a classic. BioWare can't claim that anymore. Then again, I don't even put Nintendo on Blizzard/Valve's level since Nintendo puts out a lot of shovelware in between their masterpieces.
And Mass Effect has a good core game, but all of its extras suck (i.e. the side quests), and the game is general is very unpolished. I like it, especially the last level, but the main quest is way, way, WAY too short, and the side quests are so worthless that they might as well not have been in the game at all.

Respectable yes, they are very talented. But they are not the "Jesus of game developers".

I almost forgot about Capcom. They are such a huge company!
I'd like to think of them more as a duo. :PNaughty Dog > Insomniac
At least in my opinion.

Nintendo has dozens of franchises. Bungie has one.

No, Baldur's Gate put BioWare on the map, Baldur's Gate II made them legends, and Neverwinter Nights cemented their legacy and reputation as the top WRPG developers. Then they moved to consoles, and things took a downhill turn. KotOR was still great, but markedly inferior to BioWare's previous games. I haven't played Jade Empire, but it strikes me as rather forgettable. And Mass Effect was probably their worst game yet.

As far as consoles go, they could be considered to be in a way (if Resistance 2 is AAA at GS). Valve, Blizzard, and Bioware make a game every 3-4 years, so it's understandable why they are such ridiculous high quality.

Bungie actually has 3, and they haven't been around nearly as long as Nintendo has. Nintendo has a lot of great franchises but they are milking the hell out of them. That's my problem with them.

Can't argue with that sound logic, "I haven't played it but I'm sure it sucks too".Consoles are ruining gaming blah blah, stop trying to pass off personal opinion as fact.
