As one of the (apparently) few people here who doesn't hate the Metro interface, I like the new 360 dashboard. Microsoft undid the amazingly stupid decision to put music and videos ahead of games as they did in the last revision and everything is logically organized and looks good.

Just downloaded the Dashboard today.

I honestly see NO DIFFERENCE at all than previous Dashboard, other than the interface being WIDER, with more Green Windows.

I Really don't give a damn anyway, since I'm only a Silver member.

Cows are really grasping at straws on this one. Almost every ad is xbox related and the few that are not almost always give free avatar, theme or gamer pics. I just tonight got a surfboard free for my avatar and last night I got giant metal hands for my avatar. I am also glad that they show what specials or contests they have going on for the 360.

Does Sony even try anymore? First of all, they make us pay seperately for memory cards for the Vita. Second, all the games are interactive movies. Hell, MGS4 IS a movie. Third, the download speeds suck a lot. I mean come on, 5 hours to download 500MB of data. 360 does that in 5 minutes. Last, Sony doesn't even advertise their system and games. They just released a super slim model, why not advertise that PS3 has a new model? Sony is a bunch of idiots. Bu...bu....we has teh PSABR teh most hardcorez gamez EVAR. Well that's all Sony does, make ripoffs from the ones who uses their brain and Sony follows like a lemming.

Look at that dashboard. It's disgusting, First, 360 has no games, so its users have to resort to keeping DVDs in their trays. Second, look at all those ads, doesn't M$ get enough money from ripping lems off with xblg? Third, "My Pins?" Are lems all old women who sit around sharing pictures with each other? Fourth, IE is now on 360, officially making it the worst platform ever.

And finally, the 360 still uses kinect. Why haven't they gotten over the fact that it's worthless. Nobody wants that crap, not even the lems.

In conclusion, the 360 dashboard is terrible and everyone who likes it shoudl feel bad. Cows rejoice, because for once the PSN interface is better than the XBL one. Everyone should see the new dashboard soon

First those ads are for games or movies something most people are interested in. Second the pins are very handy to save those programs, games, web sites, or apps you use often. Third the web browser is very good in the new dashboard and is a lot faster than the PS3 one ever was. So I give your thread a big...............................:|

YOu can use more the one pin. The 360 has more games this year that outscored the PS3 ones. Even the Kinect games outscored the PS3 exclusives. :lol:

The new dashboard looks more "windows 8" like and i think it looks pretty nice. Hate that PS3 interfaces has been the same since release and functions so slow. Once the ability comes out to control your xbox usin gany phone or tablet, it will be just that much sweeter.

The green is not sparkly, gamer brains love sparkly. It looks serious, on the boring side but the overview is constistent and user friendly, no tassels on this one.

Honestly it doesnt appear to be all that different. Its no secret that if you buy a console its not presented as a "gaming machine" anymore, its more an entertainment hub, however I really do believe if they focused on the games which is what people buy the things for, the investment into random youtube apps etc that people will just use their PC or soon smart tvs for, the extra investment can be put to either subsidise a lower cost or invest in new technology to benefit the games.
