Exactly. The topic should be changed from "Does Nintendo need to be stopped?" to "Does Nintendo need to be ignored?" and if they want to abandon their amazing 1st Party and In house games in favor of Wii music and such then I say yes they should be ignored.

Same. Wii will be rendered obsolete if MS and Sony manage to create a system whereby Casuals are pumped out (Wii) but Hardcore games are still manufactured as they are now. It does depend on the steps taken though.

Well I'm pretty sure you're in the movies and avatars wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the wii's success and if it continues to do well just imagine what pathetic games they will think up next. I don't really like my PS3 except for MGS4 but I have to admit i respect Sony for not entering the casual market.Solid_Snake300

That's what people don't realize. They never stop to think that they started as hardcore. Heck, there certainly weren't a 120 million hardcore gamers at the end of the Snes generation.

Or what about the Nes? Most of the Nes's market consisted of casuals that were drawn in to gaming. The hardcore were too obsessed with their mini-pcs, and laughed at gimmicks like ROB the T.V. Robot, or Duck Hunt.
