Does Power determines Pricing? Will you spend $600+ on PS4/720?

Power ususally comes with a higher price tag. I wouldn't pay over $400 for a new console, though. For anything more, I could significantly upgrade my PC.

I've said this for a few years, but I'll say it again PS4/720 will probably release for $299-$399.

I was just reading an article on how cloud gaming may be a much bigger influence on the next generation and if that proves to be the case hardware would cost exponentially less than what we're used to. In fact it wouldn't be uncommon to encounter deals that give you the hardware free with a service subscription. In fact cloud gaming would in essence change the whole home console model from the razor/ blades dynamic to more of what we currently see with cell phones.

No, I don't think there's a chance that the 720 will be anywhere near that expensive especially with MS' Live subscription subsidized console pricing model. And I also doubt the PS4 will be 600$ either, due to the damage is did to Sony early on last gen. Even if they're both powerful, they both should be focusing on services to get their money back while taking an initial hit on hardware cost. Inconsistancy

If it does something special besides high specificatioms as an home entertaiment system..
ie. 4k, virtual reality, headsets, steam, holograms? Who knows...

I'm asking you now: Do you think Nintendo will come out with an online service for the Wii U thats superior to XBL?

Now I said it wouldn't. And I'm basing that on facts such as Microsoft having much more experience in this area, Microsoft having been working on XBL since 2002 and the fact that Nintendo still doesn't seem to take online seriously. (A lot of their upcoming games have NO online)
