Does Sorcerer PS4 demo mean that PC hardware is useless ?

I mean PC cant have such graphics in its dreams, while PS4 can do it unoptimized at launch (which means will look 10x better later)

So, what is the purpose of a 1000$ GPU (2500$-3000$ PC) when you get the whole of PS4 for 399$ and will last 8-10 years and also have JRPGs that PC does not (and all major PC games like Witcher 3)

I cant understand how one can pay 10x more to get 10x less

You could of at least put up a nicer tech demo screen. I mean, I've seen modded Skyrim picuters that look better than that. That picture has horible textures...

This is not a game and mostlikely the ps4 has no hope in hell of every looking like that at a playable framrate. This is just stuff being rendered by a game engine. Look up cry engine 3 demos, heck check out the new unigine heaven demos.

People underestimated the talent of AAA console developers. I'm guessing the extra power and RAM is like a godsend to them.

But you see, comapring pics to pics, Sorcerer looks still 10.000.000 times better than anything i have seen from the top maxed PC graphics

Plus, in motion it uses more effects than all current PC games combined really and the lighting is the best i have seen bar none, in motion it is like 10 trillion times better looking

Plus we do have a full in motion video of the tech demo, so we know exactly how it looks in motion too

There is no doubt that the PS4 will have some impressive games but better looking than some current PC games is debatable.  

Of course that screen he showed is a demo and in no way an indication of how great the actual end product will be.  Don't get me wrong, there will be some nice games, just not the bullshot quality that some are pushing.

Completly dissagree, Quatic Dream tech demos are ALWAYS surpassed by their actual games graphics later
