come on, how can you people not realize that he is a fakeboy and a troll? He is using promotional pictures from a year ago and says that the Cell is a graphic card... On his other thread he was mocking the PS4 asking if Sony were really going to unlock the hidden power of the Cell with the GPGPU. I think that TLOU sets the bar pretty high, and alot of games next gen won't be as good. In graphics in general, next gen games will own it of course....but in animation, small details, sound, and having mindblowingly great gameplay sequences....alot of games won't be better. I love when a game is fun to play, and fun to watch somebody else play. And ND are experts in that field.

I know it will piss some people off, but I think the PS3 can rival PC graphics. The Last of Us, Killzone, Uncharted, God of War prove that.

Generations aren't defined by "power", otherwise PS2 would be "last gen" compared to Xbox and Gamecube. Generation is and always has been defined by console model cycles.

From Sega Master System, to Genesis, to Saturn, to Dreamcast.
From PS1, to PS2, to PS3.
From Xbox to Xbox 360.
From NES, to SNES, to N64, to Gamecube, to Wii... and now to Wii U.

Each manufacturer releases their newest model system according to their own design targets. Systems in each of the same generations aren't always technically identical, but they each do generally improve within their brand line.Seriously Shadow, your damage control is getting beyond pathetic. You need counselling at this point.

And as far as Last of Us, it's still designed for and running on 7th gen hardware, so it can't count towards the 8th gen. There's no arguing that.

Next year don't come with your butthurt and jelly to make threads complaining about why TLOU took away all the graphic awards; just like Uncharted 2 did and then again with UC3. And for the time of UC2 & UC3 Crysis 2 was already out and GeoW3 too and they won absolutely nothing.

Nobody cares about PC because they look good after updating cards every year while PS3 has been going with the same hardware since 2006. Console devs actually push the envelope while PC devs only use the power that is on the surface.

Also, I already explained how Wii-U is a notable tech jump over Wii, which completely eliminates your point about N64. Furthermore, Wii-U has a stronger overall hardware than the PS3 and 360, which is the last nail in your argument's coffin...

Do you find the hardware not good enough for your standars is an entirely different thing, which is bound to your personal preferences, but like it or not, Wii-U is a next gen system on all counts...
