The proof is self evident. You can have fun pretending Wii U is next gen, I will be having fun and laughing at you while I play on the real next gen systems and you are stuck with soon to be last gen graphics.

lol ND games don't look as good as the doctored preview material they throw out. Uncharted 3 looks nice but it's nothing amazing.

you guys are in denial and don't want to believe in the power of the Cell. Next year don't come with your butthurt and jelly to make threads complaining about why TLOU took away all the graphic awards; just like Uncharted 2 did and then again with UC3. And for the time of UC2 & UC3 Crysis 2 was already out and GeoW3 too and they won absolutely nothing.

Nobody cares about PC because they look good after updating cards every year while PS3 has been going with the same hardware since 2006. Console devs actually push the envelope while PC devs only use the power that is on the surface.

Crysis 3 PC.

Graphics are ok, textures are low to be honest. It's NOTHING compared to UE4 tech which would be considered "next gen". The animations however could be considered next gen.tagyhag

I know it will piss some people off, but I think the PS3 can rival PC graphics. The Last of Us, Killzone, Uncharted, God of War prove that.

Naughty Dog died with Uncharted 3. They got really big heads after Uncharted 2, ditched game design and started to make movies. Drakes fortune was good, 2 was great. Considering the fact that The Last of Us looks to be handling the whole "mass infection, humanity on its death bed, the end of the world as we know it" thing better than pretty much every other game that tries to hit the same checkboxes, I don't see the issue.

Does the fact that Halo 4 graphics were praised by all reviewers and have been winning awards also means 360 is as powerful as gaming PCs? Poor cows simply can't accept that PS3 is outdated :P

I can watch any comparison video on Youtube between PC and consoles and the PC version doesn't look any different really. Hermits overexaggerate PC graphics big time.

I don't care what anyone says, they can yell stupid insults at me all day long. I do not consider the Wii U to be next gen. No dev has any interest in the platform is proof enough, they are making games for the next Xbox and PS4, why are they not bothering with Wii U? Because they don't consider it next gen either.

Oh and the Wii U is much more powerful than 360 or Ps3. Twice the available ram, lots of eDRAM, a beefy gpu and a capable enough CPU. Current gen games aren't CPU intensive at all.Chozofication

but I mean IRL too, I doubt many people out there see WiiU as next gen and PS3,360 as last gen. In their defense there are still a lot of games coming out for them. They will only accept it as last gen when they see the next Xbox or PS announced.

Untill then the words current gen, next gen and last gen will be used so frequently here on SW we won't know what is what anymore :P
