Does TR being exclusive to X1 sway you?

If Microsoft had payed for total and complete untimed exclusivity, trust me, we would be hearing about it and not this "holiday 2015" crap they keep repeating.

Given that TR and Halo 5 will both be coming out the same season , it was a fantastic move by MS and should persuade quite a number of people to pick up an xbox one

Nope. I liked the last one , but it's something I can wait for (or not play at all). If this was a MEGATON game like MGS V though , I'd go through all of the stages of emotions and ultimately I might have to get a bone.

I have an X1 in the living room but I didn't like the last TR so I'm certainly skipping it. I didn't see what was so great about it, I liked the death scenes but I got into Uncharted a lot better.

No. It'll be coming to the PS4 as well, and while the last game was a fun romp it's nothing I would buy a console for.

Well I know that it will be ported to PC eventually. So not too bothered.

The only reason why SE even made the deal is because they didn't want to go head to head with Uncharted 4 in 2015 and MS didn't have any real exclusives to compete with it themselves.

Never played Tomb Raider but I'll be willing to play it now that it's an EXCLUSIVE to Xbox One. Hehe

The reboot was mediocre at best so that did nothing to me but im sure many care. All i remember from the reboot is Lara moaning every 7sec... worst tps i purchased in a long time.

Nah. I very much liked TR, even more than Uncharted honestly, but it isnt a system seller. If I aint buying a WiiU for Bayonetta 2 (a game I've a LOT more interest in) I sure as hell wont be buying an Xbone for ROTR.

I think people will be more mad then end up buying an X1 to play TR.... 2015 will be a very packed year, and I cant see TR selling X1's. There is a higher chance other games doing that.

There will never be a game for the X1 that would make me want the X1. Microsoft's policies, flip flopping, etc. are what I take issue with. No game will change what Microsoft is, so no I will not be getting the X1. The only thing I will ever buy that is made by Microsoft is an OS for my PC.

Already own xbox one and could care less about the tomb raider series. I find the rage and sadness of the comments more entertaining than the Tomb Raider Series all together.

Nope. I enjoyed the TR Reboot from last year and I still got my trusty old 360 Elite working, so I'll play it on that platform.

I'm getting an X1 anyway, that is for games NOT on 360.

i like Tomb Raider but i'm not getting an X1 just for 1 game, i will get an X1 if it has like more than 4 games i want. Quantum looks a bit intresting to me though.. i still want to see more

In the real world people wont buy a console for one game but it adds to the list of the Xbox One exclusives and that list is enough to sway people.

Lol the butt hurt. No one buys a console for one game, but sales will be picking up by early next year anyway. I am so sure there'll be another price cut early next year and with the first year out of the way, games will come out consistently. Plenty of people will buy the console by then. I'm still not seeing through the Playstation 4 hype that it's offering a whole lot more. But I digress with that.

People say this wont help, it will. This sort of stuff matters, when added to other stuff, and it buys MS some more time in the short term to get their shit together. It matters and all the butt hurt is speaking volumes louder than people saying the opposite that it does.

And I'm sure it'll probably come to the PC later and maybe the Playstation, there's really no need for all this butt hurt anyway.

You don't have to buy an Xbone to enjoy the next Tomb Raider in the holiday 2015 window, just own a 360.

Nope. If they could get into a time machine and go back and redesign X1 to have GDDR5 memory and a minimum of 6 more graphics CUs that would sway the hell out of me.

Lucky for you, you own a 360 and the next TR is being made by Crystal Dynamics for 360 and Xbone. :)

I have both machines, but sadly I'm not a TR fan.

And at some point, I'm gonna leave my last gen consoles behind in favor of new ones. This gives me a very good reason to do it.

Might as well get the latest Tomb Raider on a current gen platform.

I'm looking forward to next gen developed games that abandon last gen hardware like Witcher 3 and Batman AK.

Like Destiny, they are going to sprinkle resolutions and frames on the Xbone version, but it's a shame this won't be a true next gen title like Halo 5 and Uncharted 4 will be (as last gen assets will hold back the new hardware). If current gen ports sells you on upgrading to current gen, go for it.

I may pick this new TR game up if it's $20ish down the road, assuming it gets the same decent scores CD is known for. I'll buy it for Xbone or 360, which ever goes on sale first.

It's not just Tomb Raider that sells me on it. Other games, too. Tomb Raider just added a big positive to that list :D

And I don't know if it's just a rez and framerate boost. I'll see the difference when they actually show it off.
