Don't Think 360 Is Geting DMC4 That Easily !!!

Maybe Capcom should just go ahead and make DMC4 an Xbox 360 exclusive just to spite all these fanboys.

This has been posted alredy and if you think that 4500 fanboys will stop capcom from making a game for the xbox360 you are wrong. They alredy have built a fanbase couse of Lost Planet and Dead Rising, so i think they can sell alot more than 4500 or 10k, oh and please tell your friends to join the petition that way the next DMC will be 360 exclusive.RevenMan

Freaking get over it, it is a GAME, a series of polygons, physics and AI and various other tidbits of programming made for the entertainment of the masses, NOT out of loyalty to you, they make it multiplatform so more people can bloody enjoy it.

So you're saying the PS3 is a crap machine? Because DMC4 is developed for the PS3 and ported to the X360. I know you probably won't understand because you're post clears up that you know nothing about multiplatform games, but it's impossible for DMC4 to suddenly look crappy now that it's multiplat because it's being developed for PS3. Not X360. So if you say it's crappy then it's because of the PS3.

I stand by that comment.  I didn't say trash in general.  I just said trash in comparison to what it could have been.  PS3 has a very unique arch and technology.  If a game it's using is being designed for another system, that technology most likely won't be used.

Yeah, Capcom may decide to bring RE5 to both Wii & Xbox 360 and not the PS3 citing "lack of interest."

With the recent announcement of Devil May Cry 4 [DMC4] going multiplatform, Sony fans have started a petition to boycott Capcom products unless the company make DMC4 a PS3 exclusive once again. At the time of writing the petition has over 3,500 signatures. 

The site message reads;


"To: Capcom

We (The people that have signed this petition) feel very left out in your decision to make Devil May Cry 4 a Multi-Platform title, and hereby agree to boycott your sale of Capcom affiliated games. This is due to your decision to turn your back on your most faithful gaming company. For years we have enjoyed games, we have reaped the benefits of your committment to Sony. We find it absolutely demoralizing for not only the gamers, but also Sony itself. We want you to know that will not, and should not stand for your actions, and therefore withold our option of buying your product.

DMC4 is being developed for the PS3. Not the X360. It's being ported to it. Simple as that. There goes you're theory (which wouldn't have been correct anyway) out the window.

Of course it will be the same bloody game. The PS3 and 360 are very close in terms of hardware, and the engine DMC4 runs on was also used in Lost Planet and Dead Rising. It is already optomised for 360 hardware; it's just a case of porting it right.

You know, I think you are forgetting all the beautfiul multiplats that look better than DMC4. Resident Evil 5 is also on both platforms, as is Army of Two, and even the new Colin McRae: DiRT. It's said that the PS3 is the main development platform for all these games, yet the 360 versions look identical. Funny, eh?

And according to the recent Silicon Knights IGN blogs, they've ironed out all of the E3 06 build problems in Too Human, while added more graphical features such as HDR, anti-aliasing, self-shadowing and some spectacular special effects.

I wonder what they would do if SE, Namco and Konami port Tekken, FF and MGS.pins_basic
