I bet over half of those signatures are actually from lemmings who want cows to go through with it and completely mess up their chances to have DMC 5 put on their system.

With the recent announcement of Devil May Cry 4 [DMC4] going multiplatform, Sony fans have started a petition to boycott Capcom products unless the company make DMC4 a PS3 exclusive once again. At the time of writing the petition has over 3,500 signatures.

The site message reads;


"To: Capcom

We (The people that have signed this petition) feel very left out in your decision to make Devil May Cry 4 a Multi-Platform title, and hereby agree to boycott your sale of Capcom affiliated games. This is due to your decision to turn your back on your most faithful gaming company. For years we have enjoyed games, we have reaped the benefits of your committment to Sony. We find it absolutely demoralizing for not only the gamers, but also Sony itself. We want you to know that will not, and should not stand for your actions, and therefore withold our option of buying your product.

With the recent announcement of Devil May Cry 4 [DMC4] going multiplatform, Sony fans have started a petition to boycott Capcom products unless the company make DMC4 a PS3 exclusive once again. At the time of writing the petition has over 3,500 signatures.

No, I didn't kown that since the article I read from IGN has significantly diffent impression than what I'm hearing from you, being that they played the game and all and have video to prove it.  Maybe you should inform them of the recent change in current events since the game has suddenly become "old lefftovers and a little polished up".  I'm sure they'll overjoyed to hear your ever so well infromed opinion.  in the mean while...

This is just an example of the many twists that awaits those who have already played Ninja Gaiden. Of course, those new to the series can still enjoy the "ultimate" Ninja Gaiden experience. Though, more than likely, they'll be too busy getting their ass handed to them to appreciate the experience. I simply can't wait to start playing Ninja Gaiden again. I can't believe I'm even typing that, but yes, Ninja Gaiden has me hooked once more."

I have yet to see any of these petitions make much of a difference. CapCom is a business company out to make money and a few thousand people are not going to persuade them from doing that. PS3 fanboys can boycott this all they want, but it won't make a difference. Unless these boycotting fans decide to speak with their wallets and pay CapCom the funds they would lose from not making it for the XBox 360, I don't think CapCom is going to listen to these fools.

If this is how Sony's small gamerbase acts, then perhaps this'll persaude capcom to drop the PS3 version altogether ;P
This is like bullying developers into lowering their possible profit by millions, I don't think they'll be happy with complying.  Besides, most of the people on that list will buy DMC4 when it releases on both consoles because they won't be able to resist.
