I haven't liked SF games since SF2 Turbo. And fighting games aren't exactly anywhere close to my favorite genre.

you do know that piracy was rampant on the DC at launch because its format was basically a high capacity CD rom?, where as DVD burning was far more expensive...Dont get me wrong there was good games on the cast but there were so many better games that followed on the PS2.

Also i love loling at your statements bout how PS2 would have failed without DVD...it was a major piece of its design as time advances graphics and other parts need more detail.Sony really was future proofing its console and bringing DVD to the mass market at a more affordable price.

Cast would have never got 140million purely based on developer support a key factor in its downfall aswell as poorly planned online.

the PS2 is not only the most successful console ever, but it has the most diverse, most complete, basically the best library of any console. God of War 1/2, DMC 1/3, GTA games, MGS2/3, GT3/4, the Team ICO games, the Tekken games and many others all make the dreamcast's library look pathetic. not even the SNES or N64 has the library that the PS2 does. the only game in the dreamcast's library that poses even the slightest threat is Soul Calibur.

I don't know what freak parallel universe you've been living in, but as far as I know, GTA's 1 & 2 were the only games in the series released on the DC, and there is NO way you could call any of III, Vice City or San Andreas a port of those.

I know that Sonic adventures 1&2 were ported to gamecube and JSR got a sequel on the Xbox, I never knew of anything ported to PS2 though
