DS or PSP

OMFG, I am so damn sick of this argument. The great games argument wasn't even valid on the PSP launch; we still had Ridge Racer, Wipeout Pure, Lumines and Twisted Metal: Head On. If anything, it was the DS that was suffering. If it wasn't for Nintendogs the DS would've lost.

yeah but i only get to stay at home at night, which leaves me litle time (if at all) to play with the PSP i can play those games while i´m on college and such

also the PSP does "other" things.... but i´v already been threatned with a perma-ban so i can´t talk about it

Tbh, the PSP's library is swimming in a sea of crappy looking PS2 games. Nothing really seperates them from every other game.PSP still loses seeing as DS is far more popular in teh real world. :)

That's what they have always done. N64 > PS1. GameCube > PS2. Didn't help them investing in the newest technology so they were smart and went the opposite way. Nobody is forcing you to buy those games either. Furthermore, cartridges load faster as far as I am aware. It's a portable console after all. Why waste time on loading a game if you can play it right away? ;)

whether people admit it or not, the only reason why DS is outselling the PSp is because its cheap. You guys are always coming up with some graphics doesnt matter excuse and iam getting sick of it.

When you play a ds game the graphics looks like someone threw up on the screen. the ds doesnt have quality, it has quantity. I forced myself to play a DS once, and i was playing some childish game called chicken little, the graphics were horrible and i kept onseeing the same thingsover and over again.

only reason you people say the Ds games are better is because you bought it cheap, and if something is cheap then you really cant complain about it, since you already know what to expect.

Nor can I. I suppose it is because hand held users are most likely young(So it being cheaper is a big advantage). That is to say majority of the DSs market is likely to come from that age group. While older people purchase consoles and PCs.

I think alot of you seem to be confused with different and better. Different is usually meant as not the same. Better is when something is the same but does it more,in videogame sense, fun. The PSP games and DS games are different.

I have played both, and I went with the DS if that tells you anything haha. The DS is more innovative, has waaaaaay more games, and much better games. Tell me, does PSP have Phoenix Wright, Animal Crossing, or Zelda? Didn't think so.Benevolentbob

maybe its just me, but i hate the way the psp's buttons feel and are laid out. They feel so clunky and just not very comfortable imo. if you can get past that and get taht rubber sleeve for the analogue nub, I'm sure you'll love the PSP(assuming you're not getting its console counterpart games). It basically is what it is though. A playstation portable with dumbed down games to make up for the lakc of extra shoulder buttons and analogue stick

I have a DS and had one since launch. I recently got a DSlite and Pokemon( that game sucks) and yesterday I got Zelda( good). A lot of the other games I got are really good too.

We already know these brainwashed DS fans are going to say the DS is better. Just because the psp doesnt have games like Zoey 101 and some stupid 8 bit pixel graphics. You guys are always talking about the psp has ports, the ds has N64 games and instead of me wasting money on a dsi made a better decision.

i got a N64 emu on my psp and i have lots of old classics.

i didnt feel like buying checkers, chess, monopoly scabble and all those minigames in a cartridge. because that is what nintendo does.

if you dont think the ds has too many ports then tell me the difference btwn mario kart for the ds and the mario kart i haveon my PSP.

You know darn well if someone caught you playing a ds and offered to trade you a psp for your ds, you will accept the offer.

If someone tells you he had a psp for two days and he sold it, then he must be a noob who probably thought the psp was suppose to be able to save his life when hes bout to drown.

my friend saw me with all my music and apps and emus and all that on my psp and he decided he wanted one, he got his for a week then he sold it. He was such a noob, he didnt know what a USb cord was.

so as i was saying, if youre like 8 yrs old and you like kitty and doggy and V-smile kinda games then get yourself a DS, but pls dont you ever come on here to talk about the DS is better than PSP.

I dont care... even if the psp only had 1 game, just the appearance and the visuals and everything in between is enough to make you know the psp is better. come on, you guys wanna talk about the ds has more games, tell me how long do you think it will take to develop a 2D game, and how long will it take a make a 3D game.

when they make psp games, they choose quality. they dont just stuff chess, checkers, pinball, hearts, poker and all those kinda games i could play free from my web browser into a catridge and sell it. come on now and who uses cartridges anymore, tell nintendo to quit beign so cheap and invest in hardware.

Spot on. I really cant understand why the DS is selling so much, is it because its cheap? and tramps cant afford the luxury of PSP?
