Dumbest point of contention in the System War

What is/are the most unimportant, facile, vacuous point/s of contention in the System War? Think about something that everyone else thinks is big but really means nothing at all (it could just mean nothing to you). I'm going to post my own examples, one for each faction:

Xbox- the cloud. Hey don't get me wrong, I accept MS as having the best cloud infrastructure. But others can build a cloud infrastructure too, and I haven't got fibre yet so it's just moot at this stage for me. 

PS4 - the graphics. Hey don't get me wrong, I accept PS4 as being most likely to have the best graphics, this is based on the specs. But I've seen PS4's graphics 1st hand and as good as they are I've seen more mind bending graphics on PC already. If I'm going to buy a PS4 it will be for great games, games that must have a PS4 in order to be played - not for PS4's graphics. 

Nintendo - the free online. Hey don't get me wrong, it's better for online to be free than to cost money. But with millions more players (and probably your mates) on competing online infrastructures ... I'd be more inclined to part with some money just to join my mates. 

PC- the ability to mod games. Hey - don't get me wrong, some people are hard out into modding their games. This is mostly a personal thing for me, I very seldom do this. Yeah it's nice to pull out a graphics fix or something sometimes (Dark Souls for example, in fact I was playing just last night.). But I can't accept that modding games is the big big deal that some people make it out to be. 

So go on. Tell me all about the superficial rubbish you've seen here on System Wars ... this particular post notwithstanding...

I don't know man. Do you have anything to add? Surely there is some argument in the SW that you think is just dumb. Some angle that just seems pointless to you.

To be fair. I find the entire concept of System Wars absurd and pointless and the fact its by far the most active board on this site is very depressing.

But Willy is not claiming the WiiU is making money. He is saying that Nintendo can survive a worst case scenario with the Wiiu. Sega left the console biz with a worst case Dreamcast scenario.

Yeah it does. Sometimes I'll read posts and I'll get upset that someone could be so stupid, so single minded. Other times i read them and I burst out laughing someone could be so delusional. 

To continue with Ilovegames1992 - I find it infuriating how hard it is here to have a proper discussion. Even if you actually get into a discussion with someone that's really good, how long before a troll comes along ... with the strength to carry on, and they cast logic aside - in system wars it can't survive.

It's not dumb to make the effort to explain or define yourself to someone, but it is extremely dumb to try and impose your definitons onto other people thru an internet discussion.

It's not even really an argument, but the dumbest thing about System Wars is how many people not only comment (typically negative) on games they haven't played, but also bash reviews (and reviewers) of games they haven't played.

It wouldn't be half as bad if people would at least stop with the hyperbole though...

All the talk about who has the best multiplats is always pretty stupid.They are always virtually the same on the HD twins and then with better res/fps on PC.

Console graphics king is a funny one, as well as "teh hardcorz" nonsense.

Claiming a system has "no games" because its exclusive library doesn't cater to your taste is also a good one!
