Yeah that sucks. To the very least though, from the sound of it the apps like Netflix won't be tied to the subscription like Micrsoft made it for Gold.
Wait what? LOLYeah you have to pay for Gold to use stuff like Netflix. It was the one thing I actually hated about Microsoft's online service.
MEGAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAN Was Smash Bros. really the only major thing they showed at the Direct? Goddamnit Nintendo. I want to buy a Wii U, but I need more games and a massive price drop...princeofshapeir
we finally got Bayonetta 2 footage.

Damn, I really feel for you man; It must have been nuts last night. It's not so much the users flooding the boards. It's the forums making it near impossible for me to track new posts and threads. So dvcking broken, grrrrr :x
[QUOTE="Ghost120x"]Where was deep down?robokillyeah, where the eff is deep down
Are people even sure that this an actual game?
I thought it was just a capcom tech reel.
Looks like I will be going with a PS4 and a WII U next gen. PS4 for my main and WII U for the fantastic Nintendo exclusives.

Sony - A
MS - B-Â
Nintendo: C (MEGAMAAANNNNNN!!!)
EA - C+ (a surprise to be honest)
Ubisoft - D (ACIV looks good)
[QUOTE="SexyJazzCat"][QUOTE="mems_1224"]psssh, sony can't even drop the mic right mems_1224
whoa, what happened there?
I think it was a bit where Doritos Pope gave him a mic to drop and the flipped it over his shoulder instead :lol:Oh i thought he was pissed off or something.Â
So, good ol' Blabby's got his ratings for you all:
Microsoft: B-
They did a lot of things I liked. Namely, they showed games. Not only that, but they showed gameplay. My favorite game of the conference was shown here, Metal Gear Solid V. Even non-fans could easily be impressed by the scope and abilities this game is willing to prove it has. Titanfall certainly looks interesting, still haven't seen Ryse, and there was some other cool stuff. No Kinect or kiddies on stage was a relief. I don't think anyone at all enjoyed watching that Disney Dreamland bullshit.
We all knew about their policies and bullshit, so there's no way to avoid that. I won't be getting an Xbox One unless Halo 5 really pulls me in, and that awful $500 price tag drops. And I'll admit, I absolutely loved that trailer. So nice.
Sony: C
Sony's two sides of the same coin. The PS4 looks interesting. Goddamn, paying for online is so f*cking funny after all these years. Seriously, eat crow cows. But I have Plus, so I'll be steadily picking up PS4 titles from that though I won't get a PS4 for a while over a new gaming PC. The debate's certainly hard. $400 is a much more intriguing price point for what seems to be able to stand up to most decent PCs today. 2K basketball's coming to next gen systems (of course), even though LeBron's lips look like marshmallows ready to jump off faster than his hairline. No, I didn't just create a tangent to make fun of LeBron's hairline. Yeah, fine, I did.
But man, the Vita. What the flying f*ck Sony. This is beyond any red-headed stepchild metaphor I can think of. Barely any games shown, barely any exclusives, three minutes of coverage, and it still costs more than an hour of Marilyn Monroe. This system's destined to be the next Dreamcast. I said last E3 was the Vita's make-it-or-break-it E3 - I was wrong - but this one just pushed its death even quicker upon it. I love what I have on my Vita so far - the titles are much more fun to me than anything on the 3DS sans Fire Emblem - but the terrible future is making me super wary about it.
R.I.P. Good chap.
By the way, Destiny looked boring. There, I said it.
Nintendo: D
There are two things that could have made me instantly buy the Wii U. A really big price drop in hope for future good games, or a sequel to Super Mario Galaxy 2, one of the best games ever made and sequel to one of the best video games ever made.
What the f*ck did we get?
A sequel to Super Mario 3D Land. My god. The one thing I said that could nearly completely break me getting a Wii U is a sequel to Super Mario 3D Land. And lo and behold, Nintendo does it again! Now, I'll admit, I really don't give a shit about the Wii U anymore. This was their last chance for it to be a secondary system for me next to a gaming PC, but now, Nintendo's out a customer. At least for now.
What I did like, and why I didn't give it a F for "F*cking Disappointment" is the Fairy type, which was a terribly kept secret anyways, in Pokemon, and Super Smash Bros 3DS and its nice art style. I'll have PSABR on my Vita (*sobs thinking about the Vita*) to tide me over until then. Hopefully it has online.
Ubisoft: C-
Ubisoft was more allergic to gameplay than Square Enix is to money. I came in late for their conference and kept seeing CGI trailer after CGI trailer. It was embarassing and boring. Aisha Tyler is not a good comedian. The "girlwood" stuff haunted me in my sleep last year due to its cringeworthy nature and now we get to see it whenever her Shaq-esque frame (I kid, just being a little mean now) tried taking another crack at not making gamers grind their teeth.
Watch Dogs was my biggest disappointment. I wanted gameplay then and there, but I got nothing. Sony's Watch Dogs' gameplay actually ended up being quite meh for me. Oh well. I was also a little ticked off at how they didn't show any Rayman Legends footage, until my friends told me that they showed it at the beginning of the conference. Searched up the footage and what did I get?
A green fairy.
With bigass boobs.
In a CGI trailer.
Go. F*cking. Figure.
Luckily, we got to see more Rayman Legends at Nintendo's, but I wish it was shown here to redeem the otherwise boring nature of it. Speaking of redemption, The Division? It was cool, but we know the game's not going to be as tactical as it was shown when we play it with randoms online. The shooting's going to be what's up, and they didn't show enough of that, nor any novel mechanic with it. Still, it was cool, and worthy of bumping them up a bit for.
Also, Rayman Legends best version will be on the PlayStation Vit - *sobs*
EA: B+
Damn son! Besides the words "Wii U" not being mentioned once in the conference, there wasn't a lot that I didn't like about EA's stuff. There was a lot of good stuff, but let's skip to what I liked. (Making the next part red due to HTML issues)
Battlefield 4.
Man oh man, the entire time, I was hoping someone would destroy the building. Show me some next gen gameplay, if I may call it so myself. And it happened! If they can bring this level of gameplay to all systems, not just PC, then it's a true win-win for everyone except Nintendo fans.
The game just looks so damn solid on the multiplayer front, even if that was scripted. The other games shown looked great too. DA3 gets a pass for emo Morrigan because it's a sequel to Dragon Age Origins, Madden's Madden, FIFA's FIFA, UFC's shit, and so on. Mirror's Edge 2? Never played the original, but I will due to the amount of love it gets on SW. The sequel looked gorgeous with its symplistic colors. So pretty.
Was the same for me. MS was wall to wall games, plus gameplay. Sony won because of their pricing and (for me at least) to lesser extent their policies. If the price had been the same and policies similar this would have been a landslide victory for MS. As it stands I went out and put a deposit on a PS4 last night :PAs far games go i liked MS conference best, was most fun to watch but i like Sony's console more

They focused solely on games at their presentation, which was nice. What kept them from an A was $499.That, and being so evasive on the DRM/used games issue.
And damn did Sony know how to exploit that :lol:
Great thread so thumbs-up from me.
Even tho I had issues accessing it before... (hopefully the forum problems are fixed now)
I'm sticking with what I said on the Podcast
Nintendo: C+ (I liked the games even if I was dissappointed that it was Super Mario 3D World instead of something that was huge like Galaxy series but not Galaxy and I was hoping Retro would be making a New IP)
Sony: B or A (I loved a lot of the games the only thing I didn't like was the pay for Online play but the price and lack of DRM make up for it I don't really game online anyway)
Microsoft: I didn't give them a score but I rated them below Nintendo so it has to be between an F and a C (I don't know what I will give them everything that interested me was multiplat)
Ubisoft: I was getting bored watching it but I did love The Division, Rayman Legends, and Watch Dogs is still interesting I don't have a grade
EA: I can't remember anything from it.
