@fedor: Ah, that’s right. I forgot about that. Makes sense that they’d be very busy then.
Not sure if there is another thread on it but I don't see it, Take 2 keynote receives my first ever 0/10.
Don't know anything about that. I always do my due diligence on these things to make sure these shows at least have something worth looking at.
So when an article came up saying that Take-Two would literally NOT be revealing any games at all at their keynote, I skipped it and moved on.
@hardwenzen: Award for being present at E3 🏅
:P
Actually, i just fund a highpoint! Giancarlo Esposito. That is all. All 3 points goes to him, even tho, from what we've seen in all cutscenes of him, nothing half decently interesting was shown. Vaas was light years better.

I wish I would have saw that link before watching it. Stopped after 10-15 min in complete disbelief.

Yeah, I was tempted to do a PSA thread on it, but then I thought it wasn't something worth a whole thread on that would probably just get sidetracked into random off-topic stuff, so I made do with a quick post in my Warner Bros + PC Gaming Show + UploadVR thread instead.
Sorry you didn't see that one. Maybe I should have done that PSA thread after all.
So first party for the rest of the year for Nintendo looks like this:
Mario Golf- June 25
Skyward Sword- July 16
WarioWare- September 10
Metroid Dread- October 8
Mario Party- October 29
Pokemon Diamond and Pearl- November 19
Advance Wars- December 3
Meh??? I'll be getting atleast 3 of those but I'm not amazed.

I am getting 1. 😂
Mercury Steam on Metroid. 😐
Hoping for the best, but probably be mid.
Just hope Sakamoto and other Ninty peeps are leading the design.
@drummerdave9099: I’d like to get:
- Mario Golf Super Rush
- Skyward Sword HD Remake
- Metroid Dread
- Advance Wars 1 + 2
@ConanTheStoner: MercurySteam did fine on Metroid (Samus Returns, remaking the horrifically aged Metroid II).

Oh! I just looked at their portfolio. Looks like they mainly do ports but who knows. Maybe they will deliver.

lmao that's why the gameplay feels this bland. This dev has no idea what a proper metroid is supposed to be.
I noticed they never show 'Link' from the front. Inb4 Zelda is the main character of BOTW2 and gamers throw a tantrum, I'm calling it now.
Anyway lame presentation. SMT5 and maybe Warioware are nice to see but otherwise pretty meh. Something felt kind of off about Dread, I'm not feeling it. Also I'm about to call MP4 and Bayonetta 3 vaporware for missing yet another show.
Are the Metroid Dread developers the same ones who did the Strider remake game? I really enjoyed that one.
I am amazed people are hyping WarioWare. 😐 It must be a nostalgia thing. Same with Advance Wars.
You gotta hype something out of nothing if you're one that praises the show. That's what most sheep are doing.

I'm actually thinking you'll play both of them at different points.

Yeah dont care for WarioWare. But Tactical battles play well on Switch and Advance Wars was great on GBA. With no new Fire Emblem and M+R off till 2022... Advance Wars will be the go to tactical rpg on the system this year.
Was really hoping for a FE Collection.
For me, my picks for this year are:
Pretty solid Direct. I'd give an 8/10. Slightly lackluster for E3, but still great. A lot of stuff that I will be buying and not sure about Super Monkey Ball, I'll wait for reviews on that. However, there lies one of the issues of this Direct. A lot of those games listed are collections. I already own a big chunk of those games, but getting them on Switch is a plus for the likes of me, and on top of that, we didn't see too much of BOTW2 and there wasn't really a massive killer announcements to say the least, but that's fine. It was a great Direct and I can't wait to sink my teeth into some of these games I'm buying day one!!!
Still really hoping Capcom announces a Battle Network Collection and/or a new game in the series at some point in the near future.
I am worried about Pokemon Legends though. No new footage is a bad sign. Really hope they delay it to November.
I wouldn't be, as I said before usually the details are reserved for a Pokemon-centric Direct.
@techhog89: I don't want to be mean. Trust me, i know you were sweating for this Direct since yesterday. Reality is, visually speaking, this is what i would've expected on a Gamecube/WiiU. Its over decade old visuals in 20-30fps. If i were to add botw1 pics, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference, so lets just forget about graphics, shall we? Its a portable system. Visuals and frames are not important. What's important is being able to play video games on a bus.
Now that advance wars 1&2 remasters are coming out can we just rename e3 the nintendo show who knows wth they are doing with games.
@hardwenzen: Still looks pretty good to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You're into AssCreed. Its normal that this looks good to you🙃

I don't think he plays video games at all. Me, I play games that I think looks fun.
So, gotta say, was not expecting Kazuya in Smash. I would've thought someone more wacky from Tekken or SoulCalibur would have made it. Like Yoshimitsu or Lei Wulong. Then again, he, Jin, and Heihachi are mascots for Tekken.
Welcome addition though.
@hardwenzen: GameCube and Wii U have the same graphics? :o
Both are outdated. When i look at the better looking GC games, compare them to WiiU titles, which i then compared to botw1 and 2, its just a bunch of muddy textured titles with incredibly outdated lighting, piss poor draw distance, etc.
