@Antwan3K: There’s nuance to both questions that you won’t entertain. Black and white, the answers are no answer no. But for a f2p game, revenue is more important than just active players. Active players is just potential. And Infinite has been slow on updates, missed the mark on progression and the battle pass, and the rollout of modes has been slow as well. But you don’t want to talk about that.
Fortnite, Apex, and Warzone dont care about NPD because they bring in a TON of money. They also have player bases that Infinite could only dream of. And those games didn’t lose their player base after 90 days on the market. They are still around their peak popularity at times. While Infinite is at like 5% of its peak popularity… And shrinking… In a fraction of the time on the market as the others…
And while EA is embarrassed by BF2044, it’s still outselling Halo Infinite. On Xbox… Let that sink in…
And you can keep your little clown jokes to yourself next time…
no where in that wall of strawman did you even approach answering the questions i asked you.. if it's a "yes", you can feel free to elaborate.. give all the nuance you want.. but at least give a "yes" or "no" first..
so I ask AGAIN: (i'll even number them for you)
1) Do you think "unit sales" is the most important factor when one of the two games' multiplayer is F2P?..
2) Follow-up, do you think "units sold" stats from January is more important than the current "Most Played" list on Xbox when discussing multiplayer?..
3) And heck, here's a bonus question: since both Battlefield 2042 and Halo Infinite multiplayer launched in November, how did 2042 compare to Infinite in November NPD?.. December and January NPDs are only listing the singleplayer for Infinite so those are irrelevant.. how did Infinite's multiplayer perform on NPD compared to 2042 when it launched in November?..
don't forget to answer "yes" or "no" to the first two and then elaborate.. please give us that nuance.. 🤡
