Dear fellow gamers,these are bad news for ALL gamers, not only for the lemmings among us! Lets hope M$ won't serve as a model for other console manufacturers/game publishers. Why is an always on always connected device a bad thing?NFJSupreme

why don't you use your brain not everyone has internet and one shalt not be forced to be online to play a 007 campaigne or a nascar race this means none of those casuals will buy because most dont really buy alot of tech stuff

Dont understand what all the fuss is about. If you read the article it says nothing about online being a requirement. This feature is for the impatient gamers who cant wait for updates and console startup.

It's 2013, if you don't have broadband internet of some type by now then you need to go back into your cave.

I don't care if all future consoles do this.

My internet can handle this with no issues.

While you're right, I doubt MS is gonna do this if Sony isn't. Can't wait for some new info on the 720, so we can compare the PS4 to a nonfiction console.

Nothing in the article suggests that online is a requirement. Its always connected because the console is always on.
