EGM scores NG:Sigma 8.7!! (9,9,8) flop?

"Ninja Gaiden" and the word "Flop" should never be included in the same sentence. It's just ridiculous non-sense!

Yes but unfortunately this is System Wars so if it gets below 9.0, it's inevitable.  However most of us know how superb Ninja Gaiden is, i'm still getting it and I already have NG and NGB for my Xbox.  I just can't get enough of that game.

Cows are in a tough spot here. 

If NGS gets AAA, then lemmings will come in and say that the reason it scored AAA is because PS3 has no good games, and that it takes a 3 year old remake to get the job done. 

If NGS gets AA, then lemmings will come in and say that PS3 is teh flop and can't handle the goodness of a Ninja Gaiden game. 

Lemmings are in a tough spot too. 

If NGS gets AAA, then cows will say that standards have risen and that NGS is better than Ninja Gaiden Black.  They'll also make fun of lemmings for not being able to play the game with the extra add on features. 

If NGS gets AA, then cows will defend themselves and say that NG series is overrated and that Gamespot scores games tougher on PS3.  They will find a way to try to own the lemmings, just like hermits tried to own the lemmings for Halo 2 getting a 7 ON THEIR OWN FORMAT.  They will say PS3 has higher standards and is therefore better. 

No one will win. 

However, AAA = not owned

AA = owned based on the hype. 

There is no workaround no matter how hard people try.

The only mis-hype I've seen in hype threads is those aligned with the systems the game is coming out on UNDERhyping on purpose.

Im not whining.  Its just not very scientific, not that I even care.  Plus I don't keep track of anyones name on this site.  Sure I recognize familiar names but I don't track anyone.

well, if the fanboy voted AAA for the opposing system and the game scored below AAA, then he'd get "owned" as well since his vote was there for all to see.

what is stopping people from making a second account that does not get created during a ban period.  Wouldn't it be possible to make a fakeboy account soley for the purpose of this?  Again not that I care because as long as a game gets over a 8 I will usually pick it up.  How a game scores vs its hype does not have any bearing on my enjoyment of a game or any bearing on anything at all really.

When did they announce it for 360? And where does it say it will not be on PS3? and it will only be on YOUR 360 you say? so its a greg_splicer exclusive?

Itagaki has said 360 is his main platform and his next game is the one people are expecting. It doesn't take Inspector Gadget to understand what that means.

for all you know, that could be Tecmo bowl or another DOA. Fanboys like yourself are just ASSuming its NG2. and even so, none of that says it is a 360 exclusive and it will NEVER see the PS3. How about some real proof?

They basically reviewed a beta copy. The review was no doubt written about a month ago to meet deadlines for the magazine. Couple that with the fact that Sigma isn't being released until July 3rd means that they reviewed a copy that probably won't have some of the problems that they mentioned in the reviews.Amnesiacx
