I was kind of leaning toward 9.5 since the number hadn't appear for a while, and I thought a 9.0 is guaranteed, I was wrong.:roll:

The game does have AI issues, and I've run into some bugs. Besides that, it's the best game I've played all year, and one of the best strategy games I've ever played. I recognize GS likes to nitpick, but this is kinda ridiculous. Eh, well, whatever. :P

This sucks though, I didn't want this game to be AA at all, I love Total War but a flop is a flop as Flopspot

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It can't be AA!!!!!!!! *sobs* I played the game all day yesterday and today, it is a definite AAA!!!!! Maybe even...............AAAA!

You know what, I won't let this 8.5 ruin how hyped I STILL am about this game, and I already am playing it!

Although I'll be getting it when I get the money. ;) I personally think it improved on Medieval in almost every way. ;)

Also, notice GS is the only one who scored it under a 9, I wonder if they just like causing RAGE. :lol:

I FIRMLY believe this game deserves the following emblems: Great Sound Effects, Outstanding Visual Design, Technically Proficient Graphics. Stevo_the_gamer

If K.VanOrd reviews Starcraft II, im pretty sure it'll get a 8.5 too.

I didn't know the text was up sorry. I'd read and analyze myself but I know nothing about RTS games so I wouldn't really be able to judge.

Oh well, I didn't really want it anyway.

In Kevin's defense, he makes perfectly valid points, because the game isn't perfect in any degree. I've had Empire spontaneously quit several times, I've had the AI seeming cut off, I've run into bizarre visual quirks, and well, the naval combat needs work.

I'm not saying that's enough to detract from the otherwise magnificent experience (becuase boy is it fantastic) but he isn't just pulling this stuff out of a hat.

Oh well, I didn't really want it anyway.

Nah if that is the case KZ2 would have been flopped. It is sitting pretty with its AAAE status.
